Aurelia rushed to Jezebel, trying as best as she could with thin wings to shield her from the unforgiving sun.
The dark elf broke down in tears. "I am so sorry for all of this. Would that I could have prevented more of this. If only I'd stood up against my uncle sooner. Aurelia... What do we do?"
"I don't know. But we'll figure it out together. You were brave to go against him at all. Better late than never."
The elf managed a small smile. "You were magnificent. Like a sun goddess."
