Q'inde stepped in. "Let us try a different method."
The drahke leaned against a tree, jumping slightly at a noise behind them. "Hmph, the court mage should've helped more. Daro disappeared with King Baltazar yesterday."
The witch heaved a sigh and rubbed at her temples, smudging her face paint left over from the ball. "Shouldn't King Kaidan have contacted us by now?"
As the tired and on-edge party grumbled, Alexan sighed, muttering to themself, "Hold on Ray. I'm coming."
