The moment court adjourned, Alexan nearly tackled Aurelia. "Where have you been the last few days?!"
Her bright green eyes widened. "Days? ...It's been like 3 months."
"What? No, the ball was almost a week ago. Also, um, WINGS?!"
She chuckled at the dramatic gesturing. "Heh, apparently I'm a Sun Fae."
The charms on the green haired mage's clothes jingled louder. "Your gran was a fairy?!"
"Maybe?! I don't know!"
"Well we gotta find out!"
"Obviously!"
"I'm just so glad you are all safe," Aurelia sighed, wiping away a tear.
Q'inde chuckled at the pair. "What of you, human? What transpired?"
"I was kidnapped by a crazy powerful magic thief. They taught me magic." She held out a hand to demonstrate a small ball of warm light.
