"Do you think he's doing fine?" Rain asked as he kept moving the spoon inside the plate, he didn't feel that hungry after knowing that Payu acted like that. Sky didn't really know what to say, he didn't want Rain to suffer more but it was quite clear that no matter how hard he tried at first, he didn't really move on from Payu. Saying the truth was surely the best choice.

"To be honest, I don't know. It has been just a week and I haven't met Payu at all. Prapai surely knows more about his situation, but he didn't tell me anything beside the way he handled Som's situation. I admit that I never asked though, so maybe he would tell you if you talk to him" Sky replied.

"Wait, will you let me talk to Pai about that?"

"Sure, why not. He will come to pick me up after our afternoon lecture. If you wait you can talk to him. However Rain... be careful, ok? No matter what he tells you, you should behave considering what you really want, not just because you feel guilty or in debt... after all, it is that kind of feeling that messed your relationship with Payu, right?" Sky suggested as he held Rain's hand for a moment.

Needless to say, Rain was so focused on the conversation he was going to have with Prapai that he couldn't attend the lecture in the afternoon and preferred to skip it altogether. For two whole hours he walked around the campus, coming back to the entrance just in time to see Sky walking out of the faculty building. His phone rang as he received something, but before Rain could pick it from his pocket, Sky stopped him:

"I just sent you the notes of the lesson..." that was a strange act of kindness from Sky: it was normal for Rain to stop paying attention after a few minutes during a lecture, and usually that meant that he had to beg Sky for hours before getting his notes, this time though, Sky sent them directly, probably thinking that messing with Rain just because of some notes wasn't worth it in a situation like that.

"Thank you" Rain replied a little perplexed at first, then Sky grabbed his arm and started pulling him, since Rain seemed a little slower than usual. They walked for a while until they reached the parking lot where Prapai was waiting for them. Pai didn't seem surprised, so Rain thought that Sky sent him a message to warn him that he wanted to talk to him.

"Oh hi Rain! Do you need a ride home?" Prapai asked. Rain hesitated, so Sky grabbed Pai's arm too and intervened:

"Why don't we go eat something? I'm starving" Sky wasn't really that hungry, but he heard Rain's stomach growling as he met him at the entrance, it was quite normal since he barely had lunch. They remained quite silent until they reached the place. They sat at a table and Rain turned to Prapai after they ordered something to eat.

"Umm... how is your cousin doing lately?"

"Well, looking from outside he's doing fine, he plays as the happy gardener all day long... but there must be something else going on... today he was almost about to have a heat stroke so I'm pretty sure that he is doing all that just to keep himself busy..."

"Was he like this from the beginning?" Rain asked.

"No... the first few days he didn't even leave his room and wrote whenever he was awake..."

"What did he write?"

"Love letters... to you. Or better... letters where he says that you will live a better life without him because he was only good at making you suffer. He wanted me to burn them but I kept them anyway. If you want I can send you some of them"
