Soon after that meeting, Rain asked for the letters. At first he only read one and he wanted to stop it right there, but the following day he changed his mind and asked Prapai to receive all of them. Payu's cousin was surprised when he heard that Rain didn't want a simple photo of the letters, he wanted the paper version, as he felt that it made him feel closer and closer to him. Prapai obviously accepted, all those letters were meant for Rain after all and it was better for him to keep them rather than a cousin, no matter how dear he could be to the author.
"Do you think I should give him a chance?" Rain asked his dad Type, since he spent most of the time comforting him right after he broke up with Payu. Type was reluctant, he sighed heavily, the memory of his son crying desperately still evident in his mind, but he eventually managed to respond:
"The choice is up to you, Rain... to be fair, I wouldn't give him a second chance, if I were you, but on the other hand, I suppose that there must be something new that made you change your mind. No matter what you choose, we will be by your side... although some decisions will take more time to be accepted than others"
Rain thanked his father for his honest answer and decided to make the next move. Reading those letters made it obvious that Payu would have never done anything to get closer to Rain ever again, not because he thought he was right and Rain was wrong, but because he thought it was the best way to stop hurting him, as it was clear by reading Rain's letter when he left to go to his dad's house.
"Prapai... do you think you could make me see him again?" Rain asked and Payu's cousin quickly orchestrated a plan to make that possible. The following afternoon, Prapai went to pick up Rain and Sky. He parked In front of Payu's house and made Sky and Rain follow him.
"Rain?" Pete said shocked as he saw him again.
"G...good afternoon khun Pete..." Rain replied, already fearing that the detailed plan was shattering. Pete slowly approached Rain, who was petrified in the entrance hall of the house. Prapai didn't really know what to do, so he turned to Sky and said:
"Go to the garden, if Venice asks something, just tell him that I had to go to the bathroom and I will be there in a minute, ok?"
"Take care of Rain though" Sky said, seeing that the situation between Pete and Rain could explode at any moment, then he left as his boyfriend asked him to.
"You're back..." Pete finally managed to say.
"Well..." Rain added perplexed. He surely expected him to yell at him something like "what the hell are you doing in my house?" followed by any possible insult, but no, what was really going on?
"You're back..." Pete repeated as he felt his eyes filling with tears. He hugged him and whispered:
"I'm sorry... I should have never treated you like that..."
"But... I thought you hated me..." Rain remarked.
"I'm sure that your father will be able to explain that better... we talked before all this mess... Rain, I just want my son to be happy, that's my duty... at first I rejected the idea but then I realized that Venice was happy when he was with you... if you still love him... help him"
"What if I don't love him anymore? Will you ask me to do it anyway to make him happy?" Rain asked.
"No, if that's the case I won't ask you to do anything, since a lie would be much more terrible than the truth..."
