Chapter 12

Payu and Som came closer to the car, as they saw that Rain was about to unload all the suitcases from the back of his car. Som's phone started ringing, Payu turned and managed to hear the voice of the other person. It was Mark. After the phone call was over, Som turned to Payu smiling:

"I need to do a few things in the office, can you help them with their things, Payu?" however Som didn't even wait for his boyfriend to respond, and he just left him dealing with Rain and Ple. He wasn't annoyed by that, but Payu couldn't help but notice Rain and Ple's strange behavior. Rain looked like he didn't want to stay there at all, while Ple seemed two act differently based on the person she was talking to.

Rain took two suitcases out of the back of the car. Ple was holding the smaller one closer to her leg, while Rain was closing the car door. Payu leant closer to Ple and offered to take her luggage upstairs. The girl was about to accept, but she stopped after Rain abruptly interfered.

"You can take this one, if you can handle it" Rain said with an obviously annoyed tone. Payu acted like nothing happened and turned to leave. He started walking, but he slowed down as he heard the two of them talking.

"Why did you give him the heavier one?" Ple complained.

"What? If you're so worried, you could have brought less stuff with you. He will be able to carry that, you always brag about how strong and fit he is, I don't see why you're so concerned about it..." Rain responded. Ple sighed heavily and after a few more steps, she asked:

"Are you being so mean because you're tired or because you're jealous?"

"Jealous? Nonsense. Why should I be jealous? Just because you never miss the opportunity to praise him? Oh Payu is so smart, oh Payu is so hot... I totally don't have problems with that, I just need to take a shower" Rain hissed back.

Payu continued walking, pretending he didn't hear a word of their conversation. However, he couldn't help but think that Som was right when he said that Rain and Ple were going through a hard period. Som's boyfriend quickly blamed Rain, thinking that the young guy was just overreacting. It had to be like that, why would Ple constantly compare Rain to Payu if she claimed numerous times that she had moved on from her previous crush?

"Is there anything else I may do for you?" Payu asked politely after he left the luggage in the second guest room.

"No, thank you very much, P'Payu, you're always so kind." Ple answered with a bright smile.

"You're welcome. If you need anything, our room is just next to yours. Your uncle said that lunch will be ready in an hour, so you have plenty of time if you want to relax a little or take a shower." Payu added, accidentally looking at Rain as he mentioned the shower. Then he left, fearing that Rain could suspect that he had overheard their conversation.

"Perfect!" Rain exclaimed after Payu closed the door.

"Nice place, right?" Ple replied.

"I was referring to him, apparently I'm smell like a goat to Payu's delicate nose..." Rain added.
