Chapter 22

Rain was about to cry, and before he knew it, Payu was already hugging him, pressing Rain's face against his chest, holding a hand on his head. Knowing that he wasn't going to be judged, Rain started crying, he knew that Ple wasn't that kind to him, but surely he never expected to be used like that. After Rain managed to calm down, Payu gently pushed him away to talk.

"You should go back to your room and collect your stuff, then I'll take you back home, ok?" Payu proposed, and without a second thought, Rain agreed. They parted to get ready for their voyage home. Som noticed that his boyfriend was preparing his luggage and he was about to get desperate.

"Payu? What are you doing?"

"Oh, hello Som. I don't know if Ple has already told you, but she broke up with Rain. The poor guy is devastated, so I thought that it could be a good idea to take him back to the city. I'll drive his car, at least Ple won't have to get worried about incidents" Payu explained smiling.

"I see... are you going to stay there then?" Som asked.

"So that you can have fun with Mark?" Payu thought, but he didn't dare to say that out loud, he wanted to play with Som a little more, he wanted him to feel as betrayed as he felt, so for the time being, Payu was going to continue with his act as a perfect boyfriend.

"Yes, I'll stay there. I've been far from home for a little too long, but don't worry, I'll call you" Payu said and took the suitcase to Rain's car in the courtyard, then he went to Rain's room and took his luggage to the car too. Rain already looked much more relaxed after he got into the car.

After saying goodbye to them, Som went back inside the mansion, he noticed that his sister looked nervous, so he approached her and hugged her tight, thinking that even though Ple didn't really love Rain that much, the end of that relationship could still be a very sad experience.

"It's alright, Ple, he wasn't the man for you, I'm sure you'll find someone you will love with all your heart, just like I love Payu..." but after Som finished that sentence with a hint of sadness, looking like he thought that he didn't deserve Payu, Ple started crying.

"I messed up... I messed up..." Ple repeated.

"It is normal, I'm sure that you will be able to move on" Som said with a calming tone, but his sister pushed him away and shook her head.

"You don't understand" Ple added.

"If you want to talk about it, I'm happy to help you" Som replied. Ple was unable to talk, knowing the consequences of what she was about to do. She took out her phone and played the video she showed to Payu.

"Oh, the video where I slapped Mark, I can't believe he was so daring... wait... why does it stop right after the kiss? Did you cut the final part?" Som asked confused. He clearly remembered how embarrassed and betrayed he felt after that kiss, and he could still imagine the red mark on the guy's face after he slapped him for acting like that.

"I showed it to Payu... I thought that after seeing that, he would have broken up with you... I was so stupid... I'm sorry... please..." Ple said after she knelt down, knowing her mistake.

"You... you what?" Som asked shocked, then everything went black.
