Chapter 5: Cidade Dos Roedores

Luna: "Oh, wow! I forgot just how pretty the beach is here!~"

Luke: "Hmm... That gives me an idea."

Luna: "An idea? I wanna know. Tell meeee."

Luke: "Sorry, but you'll have to wait and find out."

Toby: "You haven't fully thought of the idea, have you Luke?"

Luke: "Rome wasn't built in a day, guys."

Toby & Luna: "The hell's a Rome?"

Luke: "Seriously..?"

They then walk past a sign.

Luna: "Oh, we missed a sign. Let me just go back."

Luna walks backwards, and she reads what the sign says.

Luna: "Oooh!~ Cidade Dos Roedores! I haven't been here since I was little! I knew this place looked familiar."

Toby: "I was here once, the villagers here are friendly... but..."

Luke: "But...?"

Luna: "Just wait and find out, Lukey~"

Luke shrugs. They all continue to walk down the path. The village is full of small houses, but big markets. Luke has a weird feeling about this place. His suspicions are confirmed when a literal rat comes from one of the houses, and starts speaking in English to another rat.

Luke: "What the fu-"

Luna: "Yes, Yes!~ The inhabitants here are all rats! They make surprising good mac and cheese here. Even orcs love them."

Toby: "Orcs eat anything."

Luna: "Trueee."

Luke: "So, what the hell are we doing here anyways?"

???: "Exsqueaks me, travellers?"

Luna: "What seems to be the problem?"

Luke: "Exsqueaks me? I- I have no words."

???: "Nearby town... a villager was murdered."

Toby: "A villager?"

???: "Yes. Not hard to miss, he wasn't a rat like us. But he had a family bigger than a rats' family. They found his body in an alleyway... Well, what remains of it."

Luna: "That's horrible! Who did this?"

???: "We believe his name to be... Kinjo."

Luke: "Why this.. Kinjo guy,"

???: "They're not sure, but he was a warrior that just started out not so long ago. He's a wizard with light magic."

Luke: "Oh crap."

???: "Tell you what. He even kidnapped an inhabitant of ours."

Toby: "Where can we find him?"

???: "He's a dirty little pillager who thinks he's a pirate. His boat'll come soon. But be warned. He is not friendly to outsiders like you."

The rat villager walks away. Luke, Toby and Luna look at each other with worry, and confusion.

Luke: "Wanna raid his boat?"

Luna: "I couldn't have said it better myself~"

Then, they sit down by the beach, patiently waiting like a bunch of idiots. While they wait, they converse amongst themselves.

A boat eventually emerges from the sea. A huge boat. It looks very much like a stereotypical pirate boat.

Luna: "Yargh! Let's go get us some booty!"
