CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
Katerina"She's stubborn. She hates being touched and she doesn't like many people. Her hair is nearly as black as the heart she wants the world to think she has. In the eyes of some, she's a monster; but monsters come in many forms, and some monsters aren't really monsters at all. Sometimes monsters are just fairies that are scared to be loved. And, sometimes they're the ones that deserve love most."

Knocking on the Salvatore home's door, I don't have to wait long before Damon answers with his usual brovado.
"Hello, Elena." He smirks.
"I was summoned." I raise a brow at the man. "What's up?"
"Right this way." He gestures me to come in.
Stepping inside, he closes the door behind me just as Stefan arrives.
"Hey." He says, looking serious.
"What happened now?" I sigh.
As if on cue, Rose joins us, causing my brow to raise.
"Not to sound angry, because I'm not, just. . . bewildered. But, what the fuck are you doing here?" I question the woman with the scrunch of my brows.
"Yeah," Stefan sighs, "we need to talk."
With that said, we usher in to the living-room and sit down -- well, Damon and Rose continue to stand while Stefan sits on the arm of a chair beside them and I sit on the couch across from all of them.
"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years, and I don't know what's true and what's not true." Rose clarifies, to which I nod. "It's the problem with all this vampire crap. But, Klaus, I know he's real."
"And, who is he?" I question with furrowed brows.
"He's one of the Originals, he's a legend." Damon says flippantly, clearly not worried because he doesn't believe it.
"From the--"
"I know what an Original is." I wave my hand, dismissing the further clarification from Stefan before turning my attention back to Rose. "So, he's like Elijah, then?"
"No." She shakes her head. "Elijah was the Easter Bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal."
'Mm, I'd find the one with the tricky words and unreadable outer expressions to be the more dangerous one. The ones with a temper are the easiest to read and work around because they're so predictable while the other is unpredictable, which is far more of a threat because you never know how they'll react or what they'll do next.'
