6. Catching Feelings

Diamond's POV: I made it home. It was late. I felt so good all over. I mean this man made me feel things, I didn't know existed. I walked in. Jasmine was waiting in the living room.

Jasmine: girl, it's almost midnight! I thought something happened to you, where you been?

Me: I'm sorry, I meant to call but I was out with Roman. I smiled

She was jumping up & down screaming.
I laughed..

Jasmine: oh my God, I want all the details.

We sat down.

Me: ok well, he loved our presentation! Then after work, he asked could he take me out to dinner, at first I was skeptical because Josh wasn't coming, turns out he's married with a family. Anyways we went to a fancy restaurant, everybody knew him. We ate , drank, laughed & talked. We rode in his sweet Corvette there. He took me back to my car, we ended up making out twice.

Jasmine: oh my goodness, girlfriend I told you he likes you.

Me: I dunno. He said something that threw me off!

Jasmine: like???

Me: he doesn't do relationships or love. He doesn't think it's for him.

Jasmine: and ? You both are young. I say go out with him, enjoy his company, and fuck his brains out!!

We laughed. I shook my head.

Me: sounds fun. But I want more. I really do.

Jasmine: and you deserve it , who knows you might change his mind. Just give it a chance, cause Mr. Roman got feelings for you. Do you feel something for him?

Me: a little.

Jasmine : I knew it!

Me: girl goodnight. We laughed. I went to bed.

The next morning , it was Saturday. I woke up Jasmine was making breakfast. I went downstairs.

Jasmine: morning sunshine, lover boy called while you were sleeping..

I smiled

Me: really?

Jasmine: yes he said call him when you woke up.

I called Roman. He answered.

Roman: This is Peters

Me: Hey Roman, it's Diamond, you call me?

He smiled..

Roman: yeah I was wondering if you could come over? I need to go over your next project with you.

Me: on a Saturday?

Roman: yes ma'am, it's a big one. I wanna make sure you're prepared!

Me: well, um .. okay. Do I need to come to you?

Roman: come on now, I'm a gentleman, I'll come pick you up.

I felt hot all over.

Me: you don't even have my address.

Roman: that's what you think, I'll be there around 1pm cool?

Me: yeah. yes!

Roman: bet, I'll see you then beautiful.

We hung up. Omg what just happened. I was so hot in a good way. I just stood there daydreaming.

Jasmine: um, well?

Me: oh right, um he's coming to get me.

Jasmine screamed.

Me: relax it's work related.
