10. Can't Let Go!!

Diamond's POV: I went home. I was so sad. Jasmine was out with her friend. I didn't even tell her about the situation yet. I didn't know how to tell her. Just then the doorbell rang. I didn't wanna answer it. I got up to see who it was & of course, it was Roman.

Me: go away!!

Roman : baby please let me explain.. please

I didn't want to open the door, I knew once I opened that door there was no turning back. My heart told me to open it my head said no. I opened the door. He came in.

Me: what the fuck do you want?

He looked hurt .

Roman: a chance to explain, you at least owe me that.

I looked at him with an angry look.

Me: Roman I don't owe you shit. I don't even know why you came over here.

Roman: baby you know why I'm here, and if you didn't want me here why did you open the door? Stop fighting it Diamond! Yes, I'm a drug dealer, yes I use the company to hide it, yes Josh is involved but I didn't lie to you Diamond, I just didn't tell you. I wanted to keep that part of my life separated from you. I would never involve you in this. I love you. I never want to hurt you or let anyone else hurt you.

Me: why do you do it Roman?

Roman: honestly, Diamond I love the money. My dad started it and I took over. At first I didn't want too but I fell in love with the money.

Me: really?

Roman: yes, would you rather me lie to you? I'll tell you a joke, but I'll never tell you a lie baby.

Me: Roman you make alot of money at the company I don't understand.

Roman: baby, all of that money is not from the company. Don't get me wrong, the company does great but majority of my money came from drug trafficking.

Me: omg! I cried. He hugged me.

Roman: Diamond, baby I love you. I know this is bad but it's who I am. I love you please don't do this too me. I gotta be with you Diamond. No other woman has ever made me wanna settle down, only you. I can't let go! It's too good baby! All of it. I promise you aren't in any danger. I will never do that too you. please don't give up on me.

I stared at him. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I decided to give in. I couldn't fight it I loved him. I knew I should run but I couldn't.

Me: okay Roman, you win. But the moment it becomes too much for me we're done.

Roman: fair enough baby. Please come with me. I wanna make love to you .

Me: we can make love here.

Roman: what about Jasmine?

Me: Roman just make love too me already.

We went in my room. We were kissing , I pleasured him, he pleasured me. Then I got on top of him & rode him like a sports car. I rode him untill I couldn't ride him no more.

Over the next few weeks, me & Roman became a couple we had so much fun together. He made me so happy. I honestly forgot about his dark side untill it appeared again one day. I didn't like what he was doing but I loved him. So I no longer cared. One morning I was at home, Roman was out of town on business if you know what I mean. I was going over some work notes, then all of a sudden I felt sick. I ran to the bathroom. I threw up. I sat there then I threw up again. I thought to myself what the fuck did I eat? It dawned on me that I hadn't ate yet. Then I threw up again. Jasmine heard me & came in.

Jasmine: what's wrong?

Me: I don't know. I threw up again.

Jasmine: you aren't pregnant are you?

I looked at her.

Me: no Jasmine, I'm on birth control..

Jasmine: it's not 100% effective. And remember when you had that bad sinus infection and had to take antibiotics?

Me: yeah, so?

Jasmine: antibiotics weakens your birth control.

Me: yeah, right I'm not pregnant.

Jasmine: I'm serious Diamond. Have you had a period?

Me: yeah about 3 weeks ago. Then it hit me 3 weeks ago? Omg. My period is super late. I threw up again.

Jasmine: friend, I think you're pregnant.

Me: omg. I can't be.

Jasmine: only one way to find out.

She reached in the cabinet, & grabbed a test. I looked at her.

Me: why do you have .. nevermind I don't wanna know.

Jasmine: hey, you gotta make sure you know..

I just started at her. Then I took the test. We both waited for the results. I sat there thinking . Me pregnant? I'm 22. I wasn't ready for kids yet. I'm just now getting started in my career, and Roman he's caught up in this drug dealing shit. I can't have my baby around that. It was time to look at the results.

Me: Jasmine you look I'm scared.

She looked at it. Her face lit up and her jaw dropped.

Me: what is it?

Jasmine: girlfriend call Roman you're pregnant!! She screamed

I just stared. She showed me the test. It was positive.

Me: omg. Omg ! I cried

Jasmine: it's going to be okay. Roman loves you, you guys are together, he has money & so do you . It will be fine

Me: yeah that's not the problem.

Jasmine: then what is?

I wanted to tell her but I couldn't.

Me: nothing.

Jasmine: are you going to tell Roman?

Me: of course, it's his baby. Just not yet. I gotta think Jasmine.

Jasmine: well I'm here if you need me, whenever you need me. I'm going to be a aunt. She hugged me. She left for work. I sat on the bathroom floor for a hour crying , thinking, & holding my stomach. I'm pregnant by a drug dealer.

I called & made a Dr. appointment which was set for tomorrow. I wanted my baby I just didn't want he or she to get caught up their daddy's bullshit. I knew Roman always would protect me, but it's not just me anymore. It's a baby. I was so scared. Later that night he came back . He came over to my house.

Roman: Hey baby, I've missed you. He kissed me.

Me: I've missed you too.

Roman: are you okay?

I looked at him. I wanted to say hell no. I'm knocked up! Knocked up by your drug dealing ass.

Me: yes I'm fine baby. I lied

Roman: can I show you how much I've missed you?

Me: not now Roman.

Roman: are you sure you're okay?

Me: yes I just don't feel like screwing right now.

Roman: baby I didn't mean screwing. I bought you something. He showed it too me . It was a beautiful diamond ring. I cried.

Me: wait are you?

Roman: no, not yet baby.. one day. This is a promise ring. He put it on my finger.

Roman: diamonds for my Diamond. I cried.
