Abhimanyu groaned audibly when she sat up and wriggled around causing the towel he had carefully wrapped around her to drop, baring her lovely curves to him. He was barely hanging on to dear life as it was but Akshara being naked and not realizing how crazy she was driving him was a different kind of drug, something he never wanted to part with.

So what if he was distracted, try as he might he couldn't stop his fingers from tracing her curves, feeling on top of the world when she moaned and arched her back needing his touch. His phone ringing jerked him out of the trance that his wife always seemed to weave around him and with a racing pulse he checked to see who was calling, his pulse crashing when he realized it was just his mother.

Akshara probably saw the conflicting emotions on his face before he could hide them and she carefully wrapped the towel around herself before crawling into his lap. He was so glad he had named her monkey because even if there was no space, Akshara would somehow manage to find some space for herself in his lap. Shaking his head down at her he held her close with one hand and answering his phone with the other.

"Where are the two of you? How long will it take?" his mother yelled into the phone and Abhimanyu had to pull it away lest his ears started to bleed making his monkey giggle softly before she clasped her hands over her face.

"Sorry Maa we got caught up with something. We'll be there soon." He muttered into the phone but crossed his fingers behind Akshara's back because getting there soon wasn't happening, especially because Akshara still had to get dressed and the way she was cuddled into him, he just knew he had a long uphill battle ahead of him. Saying his goodbyes to his mother and tossing his phone onto the bed, he rubbed his lips on her forehead making her squeal in delight before a long deep sigh left her mouth and she fell into his chest.

"It's scratchyyy" she whined making Abhimanyu press his lips in amusement, the collar of his kurta covered a lot of his neck and of course she would have hated it.

"Good because we have to go now baby." He tried, knowing what her response would be without her saying anything.

"Idontwannaa" she clutched him tighter to the point where he was sure he would have indents of her nails on his back. Sighing down at her, he gently removed the few pieces of still damp hair stuck to her cheek before bending his face down to kiss the slash of pink that followed. Not giving her a chance to protest, he picked her up in one swoop despite her kicking the air and trying to wriggle away, he deposited her with a thump in front of the mirror, refusing to look down where he was sure her towel had shifted because if he got an eyeful of it, it would make him feral and they would be right where they started.

The little grumpy monkey blew a piece of hair away from her eyes and glared at him into the mirror before clutching her towel tightly, thank God for little mercies. With a long-suffering sigh, he plugged the hairdryer in and gently began to dry her hair, placing an arm across her chest to get her to stay still when she protested "sshhh monkey, how about I get you dressed, and you can listen as I tell you what diksha and nimay told me?" That got her interest because she slowly peeked at him from under her lashes before pulling her eyes away and nodding stonily.

Finally he could let her go knowing she would not squirm away from him and he could dry her hair in peace, massaging her scalp in between making her moan deliciously, a moan that seemed to have a hotline to his groin. Okay this wouldn't do at all.

"So, a few days back when we were at Anisha's mehendi, she was asking me all these questions about how if you did something bad, would it make me regret falling in love with you? Or she was asking if I ever felt like umm your background was too much for me to handle and I would resent it down the line..." he felt Akshara's back go ramrod straight at his questions and he placed his hand around her chest again, his thumb resting at the base of her neck where her pulse pounded. "She asked a few more questions and I answered them as I could, but at that point I thought she was asking for you so naturally I told her how nothing you could ever do would be bad or would upset me to the point of leaving you."
