Mr. I will do whatever you want me to do, I will show you, Akshara muttered to herself. Revenge was going to be so so so sweet and petty! She felt like she was walking on air that entire day and so when she entered the shelter to check on Diksha and bring her for her follow-up to the Birla Hospital, she was still grinning.

"What's got you all chirpy?" Diksha asked causing Akshara to blush and splutter, "Uh nothing" she mumbled not meeting her eyes and silently helping her gather her stuff so they could bring it over to the hospital.

"It couldn't be because we might potentially see a certain good-looking doctor now could it?" Diksha ribbed Akshara poking her with her elbows.

"Please it was by chance we saw him the other day, not once have we come across him before in all the time there..." Akshara's voice tapered off, suddenly irritated somehow.

They made their way to the hospital and checked Diksha in at the desk and waited around hoping to be called in soon. All of Diksha's tests were clear and as they were making their way out after getting her reports, Dr. Gupta accosted them in the corridor,

"Akshu!!" he grinned and was about to hug her startling Akshara who took a surprised step back, wow they weren't that close and maybe everyone was casual with people they knew like that but Akshara had never been allowed to have male friends and the thought of hugging him was just odd to her.

"Dr. Gupta, hi" she said smiling at him, "Please how many times do I have to tell you, you can call me Aryan" he said, his face still open, at least she hadn't hurt him by rejecting his hug.

He checked up on Diksha while Akhsara kept looking around so when Aryan was distracted by a nurse handing him some papers, Diksha poked her in the ribs "Looking for that Dr. Hottie?"

Akshara immediately groaned and rolled her eyes. They were about to say goodbye to Dr. Gupta and Akshara had to take the hand he extended to shake it when he suddenly asked "Akshu, umm would you be willing to get coffee some day?"

Akshara was perplexed and didn't know how to respond, especially when she saw Diksha biting back a grin but it was almost like Diksha had conjured her monster up and there he was stomping over to them "What's going on?" he asked angrily and Akshara immediately straightened, he had promised he wouldn't yell at her but look here he was back at his antics. But to her surprise, he was directing his question to Dr. Gupta.

"Umm Dr. Gupta here was about to ask Akshu out for coffee, but you interrupted them." Diksha stated causing all three to turn to her and glare at her for different reasons. Abhimanyu's eyes dropped down to Akshara's hand still in Dr. Gupta's and suddenly she felt clammy and had the urge to pull her hand away and wipe it on her dress.

"Oh nothing Sir, I was just going to go. Akshu I'll call you later." He said and almost ran away making Diksha giggle. Sure, at least someone was enjoying this.

"So coffee huh?" Abhimanyu asked and Akshara couldn't place the unrest in his tone. She didn't know how to respond so she just shrugged her shoulder wanting to avoid this conversation.

"What are you doing here?" she asked tilting her chin towards him, making him chuckle and ruffle her hair, causing her to groan in irritation.

"Last time I checked Monkey, I work here. The hospital has my last name." he said making Akshara stick her tongue out at him. "our" she whispered involuntarily, both of them startled and stared at each other wide eyed. They never ever mentioned the thread that tied them to each other, what the fuck are you doing Akshu.

"Our??? Isn't your last name Goenka?" her irritating friend piped up making Akshara whirl around to her and clamp a palm over her mouth "Okayyyy we're going to go. Bye!!" she threw back at Abhimanyu before pulling Diksha away, but Abhimanyu jogged up behind them "Food? Did you eat?" crap. He must have seen the answer on her face because he turned to Diksha, "Did you eat??" she shook her head stating that she had to be hungry for her blood tests.
