Akshara braced herself for the powerhouse that was Abhimanyu as he stomped over to her, but more than nervousness for what was to come, she was just excited to see him and monopolize his touch even if it was going to be fleeting, especially in his home turf. Their eyes met as he got closer and the way his gaze dropped from her face to her chest and her arms made her throat clog up and her body to chill despite the rays of sun shining directly over their table from the long windows of the cafeteria.

She subtly tried to look over this new person who had caused all this chaos within her friend group and it pained her to admit that she was indeed gorgeous with long hair, a sweetheart face and an extremely toned body. This was not good at all...slowly all her goodwill was evaporating in the face of this new adversary, but her thoughts came to a screeching halt when Abhimanyu walked to her corner of the bench and bent down to kiss the top of her head with a small "Hi Jaan" making her friends sigh longingly and Akshara to blush deeply as she smiled up at him and scooched over so that he could fold his body next to her.

Around them, everyone moved to make room for the newcomers with Nimay sitting next to Diksha who was stonily ignoring him and Rutu to sit across from Akshara-Abhimanyu, next to Divya. Akshara opened her mouth to introduce herself but Abhimanyu pinched her chin with his thumb and finger, turning her head towards him as his thumb slowly stroked her cheek "My day has taken a turn for the better" he said but instead of it being only for her ears the entire table heard it and Bhoomika chortled loudly before throwing a balled up napkin in Abhimanyu's face "Not everything is about you Abhi." She teased, pulling Akshara's shoulder into her side making Akshara giggle loudly at the hurt look on Abhimanyu's face.

"Ya Abhi, not everything is about you" Akshara teased, wiggling her brows but instead of acting hurt, his eyes blazed with heat making Akshara gulp past the lump forming in her throat, but then he turned his stare at Bhoomika, glaring at her hand still wrapped around Akshara's arm.

"Stop touching my wife" he mumbled, pulling Akshara by the waist until most of her body weight was resting into Abhimanyu's side, causing Bhoomika's hand to drop as she laughed loudly before turning her attention to something Nimay was saying as both Divya and Bhoomika teased Nimay and Diksha.

"You look so gorgeous monkey; I can't think or breathe properly." He whispered, resting his lips into her hair so that only she could hear him. His fingers played with her still damp hair and Akshara tilted her head up to look at him, smiling wide at his antics. "Don't look at me like that, not when you look this stunning. You know what your hair like this does to me." He moaned softly, whispering into her ear and now Akshara was sure everyone around them could tell what the flush on her cheeks was because of.

Elbowing him slightly, Akshara put some distance between them, letting Abhimanyu sling an arm around her shoulder so that he could play with her hair while Akshara turned her attention towards the newcomer, smiling at her invitingly but Rutu's eyes seemed to be fixated on Abhimanyu as her gaze flitted between his mouth still buried into Akshara's hair and his fingers twirling her damp strands, rubbing them between his thumb and finger.

Clearing her throat once, she almost smiled when Rutu's eyes widened as she noticed Akshara's scrutiny before she schooled her features, "Hi, I'm Akshara" she said trying to keep her voice as even as possible, not wanting to be prejudiced against her just yet but then Abhimanyu added "My wife" from besides her and Akshara wasn't sure if anyone else besides herself noticed the way Rutu's face twisted with a soft grimace before she turned into a smile for Akshara.

"I'm Rutu, the newbie here." She said and Akshara let out a small gush of breath because she had expected the woman to be hostile and give off Ishika vibes but thankfully that didn't happen.
