It was getting warmer. This made it possible for me to take walks slowly outside the house and feel the sun ray on my skin. I miss the sun. I was also missing Victor. I miss taking walks with him. I miss watching him getting excited over anything. I miss him showing off all the things he is good at. I miss his lectures about how I am always not taking care of myself. I miss him looking at me. I miss how he would pull me close and kiss me like he wasn't going to let go. I was tearing up again and before I knew it, I was also perspiring from the heat outside. I made my way back into the house and decided to take a long, relaxing bath. I had my phone with me, in case Victor called.

------------------------------------------------------

Victor, Nicole, Leo and Jean were in a limo on their way to the next meeting.

Nicole: We are meeting new clients. (looks at Victor) Do NOT let them negotiate anything. We set the rules. We set the terms. If they don't like it, they can walk. You understand?

Victor: I don't think I am going to be saying anything, Nicole........Erm......I am supposed to be shadowing you?

Nicole: (sighs) I was actually planning on having you take the lead on this one. Do you think you are ready?

Victor: What?! Me?! Lead?! No way!

Nicole: (laughs) Of course you're not ready! It's only your second meeting!

Victor: (slightly offended) That was NOT funny, Nicole!

Nicole: Oh come on! Lighten up, will ya! You've been looking so gloomy. You gotta look the part! Come on! (looks at Leo) Hey, babe.......why don't you do your thing.......

Leo smiled at Victor like how he always does when he was going to mentor him during rehearsals. He knew that Victor could play any part given to him. He just needed to get into the right mindset. Right now, Melanie Jayne was on his mind since they landed and he was a little tired from all the information overload in the past 24 hours. He definitely needed Leo's guidance and advise.

As Leo was briefing him about what to do, his phone chimed. A text message came through. It was from Melanie Jayne. His face lit up instantly as he smiled. He knew what it was but he needed to be in a more secluded area to view it.

The relaxing bath was exactly what I needed. I felt refreshed and ready to get on with whatever it was I wanted to do for the day. After getting dressed, Ayaka told me that the midwife had come in to take a look at me because she wanted to be sure that she was ready for me when I went into labor. If my calculations were correct, I still had at least a month or so before anything drastic happens but I could be wrong. I have no experience with pregnancy. I shouldn't be taking chances.

Ayaka sat down beside me as the midwife performed a thorough check on me. She was feeling my tummy and pressing it ever so slightly to feel the baby. She looked at me and turned to Ayaka. Ayaka nodded and told me that I could be giving birth much sooner than a month. The baby was getting big and in order to keep me and the baby safe, she advised me to be on standby in the next couple of days. I started to panic. What if I go into labor before Victor gets back? What will I do then?

The check up definitely made me a little more anxious. I made my way to the dining area for lunch. Theodore was already there, waiting for me. His current concern was to make sure I was eating and resting well. I sat down and just stared at my food.

Theo: Please eat properly today. It's for the baby as well......

MJ: (nodded and slowly picks up her food)
