Kana was resting in her room at the Yamamoto family home. She was getting ready for bed. She had her phone next to her because she was waiting for a call or a text message from her beloved husband, Lorenzo, who was away for the week. He had a few meetings before the year ends. He wanted to make sure he was home with his wife for the celebration of a new year together. Kana was aware that there are times when Lorenzo might have a slight delay in replying her text messages or returning her phone calls due to the time difference.
As she lay her head onto the pillow, her phone chimed. It was a text message. It was not from Lorenzo.
My dearest Kana,
I am feeling lonely and abandoned once again. I cannot pick myself up from this pain of having lost everything. What can I do? My family had completely abandoned me and now, I am left living in this God forsaken barn which I managed to equip with basic necessities I can find. Forgive me for texting you this late in the night. I just needed someone to talk to.
Love,
Collins.
Kana sighed. This was not the first time she received a text message this late in the night from Collins. She never replied any of his text messages after the first time he ever told her how he felt about her. Kana had explicitly told him that she was married and that his behaviour was out of line. She thought that it was enough for him to back away without her having to get Lorenzo involved in the matter. Collins never stopped. He kept telling her over and over about how he felt when he spoke to her. How she made him feel like he mattered to someone despite being abandoned by his family.
Kana knew that it was getting out of control. She had been ignoring his text messages and she had stopped picking up his phone calls. She wanted Lorenzo to come home and she wanted him to know what was happening. She could anticipate what her husband would do but she had no choice. She knew that this could potentially mean trouble for her if it was not handled properly and in the right manner.

Jean was resting in his room. He was on medications but he was awake for the most part. Melanie Jayne had been keeping him company. Victor and Christopher would join in from time to time. They would bring over some board game or some papers for doodling just to keep Jean company. They were keeping him entertained.
Christopher: I wish I saw you in action, Jean. Becks said you were moving so fast like it was lightning speed!
Jean laughed. Baek-Hyon was really good at exaggeration.
Jean: I was moving, alright. I can't believe I could actually pull it off considering how old I'm getting these days....... (laughs)
MJ: You're not that old, Jean. You're just......tired......
Victor: (joking while looking at Melanie) From having to babysit you all his life. (laughs)
MJ: Oh, ha-ha! Very funny, Victor Kline!
Jean: I just hope the worst is over. I need some beer.
Melanie Jayne looked at Jean, confused.
MJ: You want......beer? Like, right now?
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Sebastian popped his head in to see.
Seb: I have what you requested for, sir.
Jean smiled and asked Sebastian to come in. He had brought a few bottles of beer with him.
MJ: Are you sure you should be drinking while you're on meds, Jean?
Seb: We've asked the doctor. She said it's perfectly fine.
