MJA : Time Is Not Enough

Game Plan

The kevlar prototypes were all ready to be tested. Jean and Theodore had already found and bought the piece of land with the specific requirements calculated and sent out by Sebastian. Melanie Jayne had already made several test prototypes to be tested. The safety team had been contacted and the explosives were all set to be used. The day finally arrived for the prototypes to to be tested. 

Melanie Jayne stood at the door of the main entrance, looking out.

Victor: Are you ready to go, honey?

MJ: .........Yeah.......(smiles)

Victor could see how stepping out was a little nerve wrecking for his wife. She had been staying indoors within the Yamamoto house compound for so many months. She hasn't been out and she was a little terrified. Victor smiled and took Melanie Jayne's hand. He kisses her forehead and headed out and down the hills. He held her hand the whole time as they made their way down to the torii gate at the bottom where there were limos and SUVs waiting for them.

Theodore, Sebastian, Jean and Takeshi were already waiting.

MJ: I didn't realize the way down was quite steep....... (smiles)

Victor: Wait till we gotta hike back up to the house...... (laughs)

The family private vehicles moved and headed out into the mainroad and then outside of the city area. They were headed into a more secluded area with thick forest. It was all so peaceful and quiet and after about an hour, the reached an open area with a huge security gate. Jean made sure the area was secured before they began testing. The entire perimeter of the estimated of at least 100 acres of land were all heavily gated and guarded.

MJ: Jean had really outdone himself.........

Victor: Erm.....You did say you were testing with explosives, right?

MJ: Yeah. The same ones Collins had Samuel used at our house........

Victor: (worried) They are safe to be tested with......right?

MJ: Yeah. Sebastian and I have calculated and recalculated everything several times throughout the week. (looks at Victor) We'll be standing at a safe distance, honey. (holds Victor's hand) Don't worry. No one is gonna get blown up today........ (smiles)

As the vehicles pulled up at the main building, there were several people waiting for them already. 

Jean: These are the safety team members, Mrs. Kline. This here is Mr. Soto. He shall be leading the team since the area is quite vast.

Mr. Soto bows to Melanie Jayne.

MJ: What do you think of this place, Mr. Soto? Are all the safety requirements up to the required standards?

Mr. Soto: (looks at his digital tablet) We have swept and cleared out the areas which can be used for testing. (shows Melanie the overview of the entire land) This is where you can place your prototypes. And here, where we have marked with red dots are where the explosives have clearance to be planted and set off. Everyone is required to stay behind this line here marked in green to be safe. The yellow markings are not the safest but not exactly dangerous........

MJ: Like a grey area....... 

Mr. Soto: They are yellow, Mrs. Kline.......

Melanie Jayne smiled. Victor tried to not laugh because Jean was looking at them pulling off that silly joke in a serious briefing. He can already hear Sebastian pretending to cough in the back.

MJ: Cool.....Thank you, Mr. Soto. (turns to look at Victor,Jean and Sebastian) Let's get our gears up and ready, shall we?

Jean monitored the explosives being planted at the designated areas with the bomb experts while Melanie Jayne got Theodore and Sebastian to set up mannequins wearing the kevlar prototypes at the designated areas, as close as they can get it to the explosives. Nothing can survive military grade grenades within too close of range, let alone full on explosives so the calculations had been made to get to it's ideally safe position. Everyone rendezvous at the meeting area.
