MJA : Time Is Not Enough

Victor spent most of his younger days working. Then, he accidentally crossed paths with Sharon. After that, everything in his life went crazy. He was working several different jobs and living on bare minimum to be able to pay Sharon and her family just to spend some time with Christopher. It was hard to imagine how he was able to do all that and made time for himself to survive on a day-to-day basis. Eventually, he resorted to looking for a proper, better paying, stable job. He ended up at Leo's production team and his fate changed for good when he met Melanie Jayne. He never imagined himself being able to do all the things he's done over the years but he pulled through and now, he is where he is.

Victor had many traits to him that makes him the one that Melanie Jayne was attracted to. It was not just how he looked or dressed. He had a way with words and he always knew what to say to make her feel safe whenever she was losing her path. The one thing about him that stood out to Kenji, Kaito and Lorenzo was his willingness and ability to do whatever it takes to keep his family safe. Of all the things that he's gone through, Victor managed to pick up firearms and pulled the trigger when he was required to do it with no hesitation. That in itself, was what made him family in the eyes of Lorenzo. He did everything he could to get Melanie Jayne back into his arms and he also managed to get Christopher at the same time.

The family dinner went well. We were all getting along so much better than expected and we all knew our roles by the end of the meeting. I was set for a midwife appointment the very next morning so I had to get to bed early. Victor decided to go to bed as well because he didn't want to miss my first appointment with the midwife.

MJ: I am so proud of you, Victor. (kisses Victor) I know that I don't say that out loud often enough but I really want you to know that I really am proud of you. You've come a long way......

Victor: We've come a long way, Melanie Jayne. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. (kisses Melanie's hand) I love you. I love you so much.

MJ: I love you too........Mr. Kline.........gosh, that is just so weird........

Victor: Tell me about it. I am still struggling to pronounce your new name...... Mit......Su.....Lu......

MJ: It's Mitsuru, Victor.....Mitsu, for short......but Melanie Jayne is fine as long as we are alone.......

Victor: Well.......Mitsu.....I think you are looking more and more beautiful each day. Must be the pregnancy. (kisses Melanie)

MJ: Maybe...... (smiles) We need to get some sleep.

Victor: Right away? (kisses Melanie) I just want you tonight.......I want you every night......

I just smiled at Victor and lay down on the bed. Victor kissed me like it's been forever since we've seen each other. It was intense but he was being gentle because he didn't want me to feel uncomfortable. I didn't fight him. We've had a long week and we could use some time to unwind. I just had to be a bit more careful than usual because I could feel my body changing to adjust to the pregnancy.

I got up the next morning with Victor's arm wrapped around me. It was still early because it seemed a little dark outside so I slowly moved Victor's arm and tiptoed out onto the floor. I got dressed and checked outside the bedroom door to see if Ayaka was already there. It was still dark outside so I decided to stay in bed. It was colder than usual so I got my socks on and waited a little for the sun to come out. When I heard footsteps outside, I got up and woke Victor up.

MJ: (whispers) Victor......hey.....we gotta get up,honey.......It's time to get ready......

Victor: (yawns) Did you just call me.......
