Victor was all set for his new goal; going to a performing arts school. He just needed to figure out which one to go to. There were so many to choose from but with Victor's financial status, he knew he did not have the liberty to choose. He just had the choice of which one he could afford to get into. Knowing that he was going to be needing a lot of money, Victor worked very hard with his father on the farm. He also opted for other part time jobs around town just to make sure he was spending his time on saving up for school.
He would usually come home in time for dinner and his father would always make it a point to have dinner with him. They enjoyed talking over dinner because they wouldn't have time to talk otherwise.
Warren: I'm really proud of you, Victor. You're doing really well, working hard and all.......
Victor: (smiles) Thanks, dad. I really wanna make sure I can get into a good school.......
Warren: I just hope you're not working yourself too hard. You gotta make sure you're taking good care of yourself as well, you understand?
Victor: Yes, dad.
Warren: How's school? You doing good in school?
Victor: Yeah. There's this new kid who joined our class today.
Warren: Yeah? What's his name?
Victor: Trevor McCoy, I think........
Warren: McCoy? (looks upset) What's he look like?
Victor: You know him?
Warren: Where did you say he's from?
Victor's father didn't look too happy about his new classmate. Victor couldn't tell him much about McCoy either because he hardly knew him. Dinner got a little more quiet after that. Victor helped his father clean up and headed straight to bed.

Victor and Jean entered the meeting room looking a little restless. Melanie Jayne didn't seem to pick up on anything other than the fact that she was nervous in having to start the meeting. A few men were seated in a row at the conference table across from them. Melanie Jayne smiled at them and sat down.
MJ: (clears her throat) Good afternoon, gentlemen.
Jean hands them the agreement. The men took a copy each and read them thoroughly. All of them except one man with long, blonde, wavy hair and blue eyes. He was behaving strangely. He was holding on to the document but he wasn't reading it. He didn't even touch it. Melanie Jayne tried to look over to Victor and Jean, indicating that they informed her what was happening.
As she turned to look at Victor, she realized that he was looking down at the table, as though he was trying very hard to avoid making any eye contact with that strange man. Something was definitely going on and it didn't feel right. Jean breaks the silence.
Jean: Forgive me for asking but, are you new to Cavanagh?
Man: (smiles) As a matter of fact, I am. (looks at Victor) I was sent in to replace Mr. Sommerville. He was feeling........a little ill today.......
Jean: I see. May I know if there is a problem with the agreement? You seem to not be too interested in it........
The man was still looking at Victor. He was looking at Victor the entire time he was conversing with Jean.
Man: (looks at Victor) Oh, excuse me but I seem to find something else a little more interesting..........so much more than the agreement right now..........
