Warren waited for Victor to recover. He was missing school and he couldn't show up for work because his injuries were quite bad but he still refused to go to the hospital. Warren made Victor breakfast in bed and sat with him in his bedroom.
Victor: (smiles) You really didn't have to do this, dad. I'll be fine and I'll be able to get back to work soon.......
Warren: You should just rest, Victor. Maybe you've been working yourself too hard. Just focus on your school and let me handle the rest.
Victor looked at his father like he knew what he was insinuating.
Victor: Dad.......please don't worry too much about me. I'm alright........
Warren: Who did it, Victor? Were they kids from school? What did they do to you? Did they touch you? Tell me, Victor!
Victor knew that it was a long story. One which he was very reluctant to have to tell his father about. He couldn't bring himself to lie. Not to Warren. They only ever had each other. Trust was what made them who they were.
Warren: You tell me right now, Victor. You understand? I don't want you getting involved in things you shouldn't.
Victor began to cry. He was ashamed of himself for not being able to handle this like a man. He wanted so much to be tough like his old man.
Victor: It's......uh.......It's been going on for a while, dad........I just didn't want you to think it's that big of a deal.........
Warren: Why the hell would you think that?! This IS a big deal! What did they do to you?!
It began with McCoy and his friends telling him to do their homework and assignments. Then, they told him to pick up their things for them. Clean up their lockers. Victor did try to tell them off but everytime he did, something bad would happen. His locker was vandalized and the locker door got torn out. They'd stuff his locker with trash. Sometimes, they'd push his head into a sink full of water and smashed his head into the mirror.
Victor would always try to clean himself up and come home looking like he just had minor accidents in school. Warren never noticed anything all along. Victor knew what McCoy and his family was capable of doing to his family farm if he tried to retaliate and he was only trying to look out for his father. Warren had been working so hard all his life. Victor's mother left them when he was too little to remember. He never knew why she left because his father kept telling him that she died.
When Victor was old enough to understand what was happening, he realized that one of the richest and most powerful families in town were the McCoys and the kids in school began talking about how his father was deranged and that Victor was a freak. That was why he spent a lot of time alone and no one wanted to be friends with him. Soon, he found out that his mother left them and married Trevor's father. That was why his father was never fond of the McCoys.

Melanie Jayne was crying in the bedroom. She was looking at her cellphone, hoping that Victor would call her to tell her that everything is ok and he was coming home safely. She waited and waited until she just couldn't do it anymore. She tried calling him but it went straight to his voicemail so she decided to leave him a message.
MJ: (crying) Victor.......honey.......please come home.........I am so afraid for your safety........I need to know you are alright........ (sniffles) Please pick up the phone. Tell me you are alright........Please.......just tell me you are alright.......I can't do this.........I need you....... (continues crying) I need you, Victor.......Please come home..........
