MJA : Time Is Not Enough

Melanie Jayne was in the nursery. Ayaka was assisting her in giving Kai a bath. Christopher walks in to see.

MJ: Hey, Christopher......you wanna help give your sister a bath?

Christopher: I can help? Really?

MJ: Sure you can! You're a big boy now! (smiles)

Christopher: Yey!

Christopher was so excited to help out whenever he can. He really loves Kai but she is still to little for him to play with so he would try to interact with her how ever he can. It took a lot longer than usual and the floor was wet. Melanie Jayne didn't mind because she liked how enthusiastic Christopher was in trying to give Kai a bath. When Kai was finally cleaned and dressed, Melanie Jayne fed her on a chair in the nursery. Christopher sat beside Melanie Jayne.

Christopher: That was so much fun, mommy.

MJ: It was. We clean her at least three times a day. If you have the time, you can come by and give us a hand........

Christopher: I'd love to!

Victor walks into the nursery to find Melanie Jayne and Christopher chatting.

Victor: I was wondering where everyone disappeared to.......

Christopher: Daddy! I helped washed Kai today!

Victor: You did? That's great!

Christopher: It was so much fun!

Victor: Maybe mommy and I wouldn't have to wash her anymore after this. You can just do it for us........ (smiles)

Christopher: (panicking) Me? Everyday?

Victor laughed.

MJ: Your father was joking, Christopher! (laughs)

Everyone cleaned up everything and brought Kai out into the lounge area to hangout before lunch time. Christopher went to read some books with Sebastian while Victor sat beside Melanie Jayne. Lorenzo joined in and sat across from them.

Lorenzo: (smiles as he looks at Kai) She's getting to be a big girl.......

MJ: She is, dad. I can hardly hold her up. (laughs)

Lorenzo kept silent for a bit. He looked a little worried.

MJ: You ok, dad?

Lorenzo took a deep breath and looked at Melanie Jayne.

Lorenzo: If you could spare some time later, after lunch.........there is something I would like to discuss with you.......

MJ: I always have time for you! (smiles)

Lunch went by quickly. Ayaka was looking after Kai while Melanie Jayne went for the meeting with Lorenzo. They were seated in the meeting room. As she entered the room, she saw Kaito already seated, waiting for them. She took a seat with Lorenzo. Jean walked into the room and shut the door behind him.

It seemed like a serious atmosphere and Victor was not part of this meeting.

MJ: Erm.........am I in trouble?

Jean: No, Mitsuru. We are here to discuss an important matter. You need to focus.

MJ: Got it.

Jean looked at Lorenzo, indicating that he can begin the meeting.

Lorenzo: Melanie Jayne.......As you may already know......you are to be taking over the business......in my place........
