Dying to Dance (s1 e6)

Alessia's pov
"I want to talk about this upcoming weekend. It's regionals. Everybody knows how important that is. We are going to Star Power. You know that's one of the toughest competitions out there. This is what is going to happen for this next weekend. Maddie new solo, Brooke new solo, Chloe new solo and Alessia new solo. Now the age categories are a little different so we wanna make sure your dance reflects you as a dancer now not the beginning of the season.

| Usually Maddie, Chloe and Alessia all go head to head since Chloe is only a year older the Maddie and Ale. However this competitions age categories are 9-11 and 8 and under which means only Alessia and Maddie are competing against each other and not Chloe | Aria Russo/Dance mom

"We are doing a new group routine this weekend and everybody is in it the entire team. It is called 'Where have all the children gone?'. This is a routine about children who become missing." Abby says and Chloe and I look at each other like she's crazy

"We've all seen the children's faces on the milk cartons. It's contemporary, it's mature and it's very dark. You have to be great actresses to pull it off. And they're all in white like their angels. I don't want any discrepancies and I don't want any opinions." Miss Abby tells us

"Moms I'm going to go ahead and dismiss you now we have lots of work to do. Girls up let's get moving let's get moving cmon"

We started practicing our group in studio b. Honestly i really liked this number and how creepy it was since I never get to do dark contemporary numbers.

We all end up dying different ways. Nia ends up dying from choking herself. Maddie cuts her wrists. Chloe stabs herself. Paige jumps off the stage and apparently I shoot myself. Then once everyone leaves the stage Brooke looks around and runs off.

"Come in close listen to me. Your dancing your doing the steps and your trying to listen to the words. You're not interpreting the story correctly. And this is very serious because maybe people in the audience have had a child that's gone missing so you're going to touch somebody's heart. So this has to be a very serious routine and right now you're just doing the steps. And we need to get past that and we need to preform." Miss Abby tells us. "Do you two understand?" She asks Vivi and Kenzie and they nod

We finish up rehearsals for the group today and we all go to different classes. I go to my ballet private, Maddie goes to her tap private and the other girls go to acro class.

"Hello Alessia" Miss Stacy, one of the ballet teachers at the studio, says

"Hi Miss Stacy" I said

I worked on some techniques to get me better.

After the 30 minutes is over for my private I go into the acro class so I can continue working on my front ariel since I have my side ariel now.

Two Days to Competition

"Good Morning ladies. Everyone ready to go?" Miss Abby asks as she walks into the dancers den

"This is regionals you know how important this is" She says

We start off with some bar work in studio a before Abby grabs me to do my solo.

"Ok you have an acro solo this week. Now you haven't done an acro solo in a long, long time but I know you like them so you have to own it." Miss Abby tells me and I nod

"It is called Believe because I believe you can win and you need to believe you can win" Miss Abby tells me which makes me smile
