Alessia's pov
I'm back in LA! Later today I'm going on The Ellen Show! After that I fly back to Pittsburgh for the last day of rehearsal before competition even though I'm obviously not competing this weekend.

"Hello, you must be Ale and Aria, correct?" A man asks when we walk into the building and we nod. "Hi, I'm Andy, and I'm the executive producer of the Ellen Show"

"Hi, it's nice to meet you" I speak up as I shake his hand

"It's nice to meet you too. Are you ready for tech rehearsal?" He asks me and I nod

He then shows me the set where I'll be performing and where I'll be talking to Ellen. Then he shows me the dressing room.

"Okay, so you can get into whatever you're gonna dance in for the tech rehearsal." He tells me and then leaves. Again, Abby wanted me to wear ALDC stuff. Today I'm wearing a black and pink set. Then I put my hair in a ponytail

After I finish my mom and I go out to the set where I would perform and we see Ariana

"Ale! Hi!" She exclaims when she sees me. She runs over and hugs me and then my mom. "Aren't you so excited?"

"Yes!" I cheer

Then Andy comes over and explains what we're going to do. Basically it would be just like the music video. The same choreography and everything just this time it's live and I can't make any mistakes.

"So we can run it a few times with all the light" Andy tells us and we nod. Ariana wouldn't be singing live until the show, just to make sure nothing happens to her voice. Instead, we just have, 7 rings, being played on speakers

"I just had to see this, and wow. You are spectacular" Ellen claps after I finished our third run through. "Your friends with Maddie Ziegler, right?"

"Yeah, we're bestfriends" I nod

"I just had her here last week. She said so many good things about you, that I just needed to have you perform with Ariana this week" Ellen says and I smile

"We have 10 minutes until you need to be out there. Are you almost done?" Andy tells me and my stylist, Jenny, and we nod.

"Okay babe, so you are all ready now. You can go backstage and wait until someone gives you more instructions. Good luck" Jenny hugs me before I leave. My mom is already sitting in the audience so I go back by myself.

"Hey Ale, you got this okay? You will do amazing" Ariana says.

"Places, places, you're on in a minute" Andy tells me and Ari

I go sit in the chair where I'm supposed to start and Ariana goes to the middle stage area on the set

"Our next artist has been in multiple shows and is now starting her music career. Her music video, 7 Rings, has been watched over 20 million times in less than 3 months. Please welcome a spectacular performance by Ariana Grande"

Ariana begins to sing while I dance. I use my contortion skills a lot in this dance so it's super fun
