Candy Apple Showdown (s3 e19)

We get to the studio an hour after the View was over. It was so much fun, but I'm happy to be back with dancing. Right now the moms are getting us ready. I changed into my black dance set and my mom is putting my hair in a bun. She then adds a black bow.

"All right listen up girls. This is the way it's gonna go" Miss Abby says as she walks into the room we're getting ready in. "The View today, all though spectacular, took up a lot of our group time. So I'm going to start with the solos"

Chloe does her solo rehearsal first and then it's my turn. I run my dance 3 times. Since I learned this dance already for a hiphop class I took in New York a couple days ago, Miss Abby had very few corrections to make.

Miss Abby worked on our group dance some more. I'm really enjoying it and it's fun to do.

While we were working it the moms seemed to have gotten into an argument. Kristie was swearing a lot and when we looked over my mom, Melissa and Jill were pointing to her.

TWO DAYS TO
COMPETITION
Bryant Park
Ice Rink

Today the moms brought us to an ice rink to go skating. I didn't really want to go because it's against the contract and we were gonna get in trouble. Plus I don't want to hurt myself

"Ale, put on your skate please" Mom says and I shake my head no. "Ale, let's go. Put your skates on. Stop crying. It's about fun let's go. Get them on" I grabbed the iceskates and put them on

When we went on Maddie and I stayed on the wall the whole time.

"Come on I'll grab your hand" Melissa says to us.

Overall the ice skating was ok. I would have rather not done it but whatever.

ONE DAY TO
COMPETITION

"Asia we're gonna start with her. And you all are going to do 100 pushups. She doesn't have to do the 100 pushups 'cause she didn't ice skate. You were selfish, you were naive, and you put this entire group in jeopardy" Miss Abby says and we started them. Pushups are hard.

I don't think it was fair I had to do them because I didn't even want to ice skate. I only did about 10 and the rest of the time I was in a plank. Then when Miss Abby looked over at me I did one. So technically I did 13 pushups out of 100

Finally, once we fished the pushups we still had to wait for Asia.

DAY OF COMPETITION

We get out of the van and make our way into the hallway where all our fans are. Then we see the cadc walk in

"Do not acknowledge them. They don't exist" Miss Abby tells us. We find out Cathy isn't here because Vivi was sick or something

We start getting ready for our solos.

"You got the hairspray in my face" I say to my mom

"Sorry hunny" She apologizes. She finishes my hair and makeup and then I change. I mark my dance a little bit for Miss Abby.

"Good, good. Energy and face. Let's go" She tells me. She talks to the rest of the soloists and I for a little and then takes us backstage.

Maddie and Chloe have to go against each other this week. Luckily, since I'm doing hiphop, I'm in the junior hiphop category. So I'm not going against them!
