Alessia's pov "Come on girls, let's go! Move it. Move it. Move it" Abby yells and we line up. "Mosey on in here, kind of like you walked out on stage." She takes a breath in before beginning
"One day national champions, the next day third place. We cannot walk in there again mediocre. All right. We will be attending the Believe talent competition in Columbus, Ohio. Now, you know who's going to be in Ohio." She says. Yep, Candy Apples. "I bet Cathy's team is a better team. I'm sure she's been working on this number for weeks. And if you guys go out and dance like you did last weekend, she's going to win."
"All right. Let's get started with the pyramid. Of course, Payton. For your behavior to be so ugly over you hair - I don't care if your happy, or sad, or if your in pain. I don't care. You go to that competition and you are representing me. And next, Brooke. You missed a whole four counts on the floor. You just rolled over right in front of the judges. And next, Nia. Good week, beautiful costume, pretty girl, did a nice job. But do you perform the choreography. Do you go out on stage like it's the last time you're ever gonna be on stage? No, I don't think so. Mackenzie, lots of fooling around in the dressing room, in everybody's way. We need to work on that. Understand?"
"Yes" Kenzie mumbles and Abby continues
"Next I have Paige. Paige, you were part of the high score winning trio. Could you have done a better job? Certainly. Next we have Kendall. It was good. Same thing as Paige - could have been better. Could have been outstanding. And next we have Chloe. Chloe, you have the dancers body. You have the look. Your technique shines through. You can nail it, no matter what."
"And on top of the pyramid, the two overall high score winning soloists of the day in their category's is Maddie and Ale. Maddie was also only 2 points away from Ale, who placed first overall." Abby says and everyone claps as we smile

"I told every single one of you over the break that this in not going to be another year of Maddie and Ale working their butts off and you all sitting around." Abby tells us
"Kendall, Chloe, you both have solos this week. We're gonna see who my number two girl is. I know who my two number one girls are, but who's right behind them?" Abby asks and some of the moms roll their eyes
"Chloe, Kendall, it will be the battle of the pop stars. Chloe, your routine is inspired by Katy Perry. And, Kendall, you're going to be an extreme individual like Lady Gaga." She announces and we all clap
"Everyone will be in the group routine. The routine is called, Just Another Number. Each one of you are just another number, easily replaceable. Moms, you are dismissed. Girls, spread apart. Let's start warming up. Grand Plié in second." Abby says
FIVE DAYS TO COMPETITION
"Five, six, seven, go" Abby counts as we rehearse the group dance. It's a lyrical dance and it's fun. Maddie and I are the lead like usual as well.
