Alessia's pov
As me, Maddie and Kenzie, followed by our moms, come into the studio today, we see Nia and Holly talking to Abby. She seems sad, but I don't know what it's about

We just keep walking past and into the dancers den. I take off my blue long sleeve shirt and leggings and change into my black and blue aldc set. My hair was already done in two dutch braids going into a high ballerina bun with a white bow.

"Omg, Ale, did you get your second piercing?" Kendall asks when she walks in and I nod and smile. She comes closer to see my second gold diamond stud in my ear along with my gold hoops. "I love them so much"

"Thank you" I smile before going back to my stretches. Soon enough, Abby calls us into studio A for pyramid. We walk in and line up. I'm between Maddie and Nia

"JoJo, you're back." Abby begins. "You got the invitation that I wanted you to stay another week." JoJo's smile goes from ear to ear, kinda of like a Cheshire Cat

"Girls, welcome back. This is the last week before your travel to Los Angeles. I don't know if all of you are ready. We need to redeem ourselves from last week." Abby tells them and I think back to when Kenzie called me and Maddie and told them that their group dance, Something to Believe In, got second place

"How do you expect to travel to Los Angeles, California, and be ready to audition if you're second-place dancers?" Abby questions and we just stare at her. I'm getting kind of tired of this. Her constantly being negative all the time. I wish she would be more positive and uplifting

"Abby, just going back for a second, with all of these things going on, with opening up a new studio, sending kids for auditions, don't you think that's going to take away from for training our girls, getting them ready for competition?" Holly wonders, and honestly, so do I

"Hey, hey, hey, hey. I can do it all. I can fry it up in a pan, I can bring home the bacon, I can do it all." Abby says and Holly doesn't seem too sure

"Now, let's go over the competition. On the bottom of the pyramid... Nia. You were the leader. You were the featured spot. But it wasn't enough to win."

"Next, we have Kendall. The feet were not great. I think you're just thinking about this," Abby motions to her face, "and from here down" she motions to her chest and down, "kind of does whatever it feels like doing."

"Next, we have Kalani. Even though you stood out in that group number, I brought you here to win. I brought you here to help us win, to make everybody rise to your level. And we were second."

"Next, we have Maddie, and then we have Ale. Maddie, Ale, you weren't here. You want to talk about what you two did while you were gone?" Abby asks and we look at each other and she motions me to speak first

"Well, I performed with Ariana Grande" I begin

"And I performed with Sia" Maddie adds and I nod before continuing

"And there was also a lot of other celebrities there, and each celebrity performed, so it was really cool" I say and everyone claps for the two of us

"That's nice!" Jill smiles while clapping

"This is why we're going to L.A.. It's the entertainment capital of the world. It's where people go to work in the industry. The land of opportunity." Abby tells us before continuing pyramid
