Alessia's pov "I got the boot off!" I cheer as I skip over to the other girls and they cheer
"You can dance this week!" Kalani hugs me and I giggle. I then set my bags down and take off my sweater and jean shorts to reveal my black ALDC booty shorts with a red waistband and my black ALDC sports bra with a red outlining and red words. Then I clipped my red bow in my high, ballerina bun
"All right! Come on, come on! Let's go!" Abby yells and we make our way into the main studio room for pyramid
"This is nationals week!" Abby begins and we clap
"This year... 15 victories... out of 25 competitions. Now, that's, ten competitions that the group did not win. The odds are not betting odds. I'm not gonna go to the racetrack and say, Ooh yea, I'm gonna bet on that pony. No. That horse should be taken out back and shot. You want to win. You want to be the best." Abby yells. "Word on the street, that one other team will be performing as well."
"We're gonna beat those BDAs" Melissa laughs
"Saturday is our opening of the ALDC LA." Abby announces and we cheer. "Obviously, it's not gonna be finished. We have a lot to do."
"This is huge; this is not a little dance studio in a strip mall." Jess comments
"On the bottom of the pyramid... JoJo. I'm correcting you over and over and over on the same thing. You're not getting what I'm telling you is wrong."
"Next... Ale. Ale, you didn't dance last week"
"Wait, Abby, why would Ale be above JoJo if she didn't dance and JoJo did?" Jess asks
"Because Ale helped me with the music last week, and I don't need to tell her the same thing over and over and over again for her to do it right" Abby shrugs and Jess rolls her eyes
"Next on the pyramid is... Mackenzie. You're little. To dance next to the people, you need to make adjustments whatever it is."
"Next... Kendall. It was good. But a true dancer always strives for perfection. That's what you need to do."
"And then next we have... Kalani. Third. Third in the competition, third on the pyramid."
"All right. Next we have Maddie. I know it was difficult to tug-of-war with a parasol and let somebody else win, who didn't even exist, who was make believe. But you did it."
"On top of the pyramid this week- congratulations... Nia. Nia, you were the overall high score winning soloist. Congratulations on the win."
