Alessia's pov "How was your morning girls?" Melissa asks all of us
"Good" We nod
"Who are we missing?" Kendall asks
"Where's Kalani?" Melissa asks
"Kira's here!" Jojo exclaims and we turn and see Kalani and Kira walking over. Obviously, me, Hannah and my mom new she was here, but no one else did
"Unfortunately. Kalani wants to be here" Kira shrugs before all the girls say bye and we go inside since we know there's gonna be lots of drama
"Wait, guys, where's Ella?" Kenzie asks
"Oh, she's in Spain. Family thing" Brynn tells us and we nod
We then start getting changed. I keep my leggings on, but take off my cropped shirt that reveals my black ALDC sports bra. I put my hair back into a ponytail before we all go to pyramid
"Okay, ladies, congratulations to the group!" Abby cheers and we clap. "The Vultures- they grabbed the prey! They picked them up, they dropped them, like puppies in a field."
"I'm going to do things a little differently. Shall we?" Abby suggests
"At the top of the pyramid: Maddie, Ale. Maddie and Ale, you both had a solo. You tied for first place. How does that keep happening?" Abby asks and we laugh
"Maddie, I thought your solo was absolutely exquisite. It was perfect. Ale, you're solo, mind blown. I didn't think you would be able to do it as good as you did. You went above and beyond my expectations. It was a very hard solo, lots of new things, you did it. You didn't cry. You don't put up a fight. You did it, and you tied for first"
"Next row, we have Mackenzie, because Mackenzie was our overall scholarship winner. Boom! Next to her we have Hannah. Came second to Mackenzie by half a point. I watched your dance, thought it was amazing. Proud of you both"
"Then, pretty much straight across the board, we have, Nia. Kendall. We have Kalani, and Brynn. In the group dance, you all really focused on not being the weak link. It was right on the money."
"On the bottom of the pyramid, JoJo. Ella. Jojo, I need to see you stretch those legs straighter and get that flexibility. Yes? You don't want to be a one-trick pony."
"Then, Ella, I thought she did great in the group dance. Once again, she's not here. I'm sick and tired of her and her mom just leaving whenever to go wherever. I contacted her mother, they are no longer on this competition team" Abby tells us and my jaw drops and everyone gasps

"This week, we will be attending Xpressions Dance Competition. Two trios will go up against each other in the competition. As you can all clearly count, there are nine girls. However, Hannah, is not going to be joining us at the competition. She has been offered a modeling job for a kids clothing company. That leaves 8 kids." Abby explains
