Alessia's pov "Girls let's go. Come on girls" Miss Abby yelled and we all ran into pyramid
"I want to start off by talking a bit about dance troupe North Carolina" And at that I started zoning off. Pyramid had gotten longer and longer each time and it now took 45 to do when at the beginning of last season it took like 5-10 minutes
"This weekend we are headed to Columbus, Ohio. You know who lives in Ohio" Miss Abby says
"CANDY APPLES" Chloe and I say together laughing
"We are going there and she will be at the competition. I don't want any squawking between the mothers. You're all on the same team and we're all going to take a bite out of the big apple." Miss Abby said which made us laugh
"alright we're going to start with pyramid"
"On the bottom Kendall, you are on probation. That means I am watching you like a hawk. Do you understand me? Mackenzie. I keep giving you little parts. Your dancing is not up to where the rest of the girls are. When Maddie was seven she could've done the choreography. Brooke, you knew the number but the crying and the hysteria that's not a young adult. Paige, you did a nice job this weekend. The on the bus coming home we told you to sit down 32 times. I counted. That's 31 too many." Miss Abby said
"Every single one of them were playing on the bus." Kelly argues
"That doesn't make it right" Miss Abby says
"You should yell at them too" Kelly says

"Nia, I left you in the same spot that you were in last week. Maybe somebody from Nias family could show up at the competition and watch her and clap for her. Next we have Hannah. You were first in your age group and that was very good for your first solo. Next Chloe. Chloe, you did a great job. Next we have Alessia. You placed first in your age group and you did very good in the group. And on top of the pyramid is Maddie. You did a great job and you were moved up a category and still won, however I have seen you dance better" Miss Abby tells us

"Every single person is in the group dance, even Hannah" Miss Abby said which made us happy
"It is called bad apples. It's a little 40s novelty but it's a little Katy Perry. It's a little kicked up. So I want the pin up girl look. We have the rat and we have the snood. If you don't know what a rat and a snood is, look it up. When you go on stage for that competition, you better be on fire. Brooke, you're doing a solo. Cathy has a girl entered your age. I want you to make applesauce out do that kid. Backstage, freak that kid out. I want that kid in tears before she ever steps on that stage. Now we also have a duet going to MacKenzie and Hannah. It's a nice fun upbeat acro jazz number. All right, Candy apples, applesauce. Squish em. All right moms your dismissed. Girls, spread apart. Let's warm up and start doing the number.
