Nia vs Kalani: Winner Takes All (s5 e31)

Alessia's pov
"So, what did the doctor say?" Abby asks me when I come in and I show her my ankle that's currently in a boot and she face palms

"They said it's twisted a little bit, but as long as I keep the boot on all week, and I don't dance all week, then there's a possibility I can dance at nationals" I explain

"You can't dance all week?" Abby asks and I nod. "Okay, well, I'll have you sit on the side and play music then"

I then walk over to the other girls. While they all change I just sit down and stay in my black Lululemon leggings and grey Nike tech, so I'm still matching with the girls since they're wearing gray and black sets. My hair's in two braids at the front that wrap under my hair to create a little headband.

"Okay, girls, let's go" Abby waves us over for pyramid. "Kira, if you would like to have a seat, I'd be more than happy to pull that chair over for you"

"Thank you" Kira nods

"I'll get it" Melissa offers. She comes back over with a white chair that Abby usually sits in

"All right, now, Jill is missing." Abby begins

| Jill is not here for a couple days because of her daughter's graduation. So I'm in charge of Kendall, which I know is super fun for her and Ale. | Arias pov

"All right, congratulations. You won. You did well" Abby says and we clap. "It was entertaining. It's something that all of you would do if you were in a Broadway show."

"I just want to say that next week is our opening of the ALDC LA." Abby informs us and we cheer

"We have one more week, and we're going to nationals. I don't think you're in the physical condition you need to be in. I don't think you're in the mental condition that you need to be in. You're not ready." Abby tells us

"Do you think it's because of the move to LA? I mean, that's the biggest change I can see" Holly questions

"I think it's their priorities." Abby replies. "After you've won four nationals, that's not the goal anymore."

"I don't think anyone wants to go to nationals and not win. I mean, no matter how many years you've gone..." Jess trails off

"You can talk about, oh we want to go to nationals, oh yeah, we want to do this, oh yeah, we want to win. Show me."

"All right, let's get to the pyramid"

"On the bottom, JoJo. You messed up in the group dance. You need to learn when to stand out and when to fit in"

"Next, we have Kendall. You could've been at the top of this pyramid. You had a scarf. That was significant in the piece, to throw it in through air and catch it. That's a wow factor in the dance. It's becoming a pattern with you. You take the wow away. You're out of the running for nationals. You know that"

"Yes" Kendall nods

"Next, we have Nia. You were good. You did what you needed to do."

"Next, we have Kalani. You were great in the group routine. When I gave you the facial expressions that I wanted , you did it. You felt something. And if you didn't feel something, you acted like you did"

"And next is Ale. Ale, you had a solo, we pulled it, it's okay. However, you stood out to me in the group dance. I think you pulled focus in a very positive way. But since you didn't do the solo, you are out of the running for one at nationals, understand?" Abby's asks and I nod
