Alessia's pov "Hi" I smile at Abby as I walk through the doors
"Hi, babe" She smiles back and I walk to the dressing room
"Dede!" I cheer when she walks into the dancers den a couple minutes later. Today, we didn't do homeschool together since I was in New York until an hour ago. I had to model for dance spirit magazine
"Your video was so, so good!" I hug her
"Thanks, Lele!" She smiles
Earlier today, Maddie's second Sia video came out, Elastic Heart. I personally loved it and so did my mom, dad and sister.
"Wait is that Candy Apples?" I hear my mom quietly ask. Apparently, there was a post by Cathy showing her new team and that they're competing against us this weekend. Also, that team has two girls from AUDC and they've all been to ALDC auditions. That's gonna be fun
"All right, come on. Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Abby yells and we walk into studio A in our matching dance sets. It's black leggings with a black and gold tank top. Then my hair is in a bun with a black bow
When the moms get in here, they tell Abby about Cathy's team and who's on it. It's really funny
"Now she has some girls who can really dance." Abby tells us
"Last week, the team came in third. If you lose to Cathy, I'm not gonna have it. Well, we need to move on to the pyramid"
"Kendall and Nia. You both were given solos. Neither one of you placed in the top five. You don't place in the top five, you're not gonna see another solo for a while"
"Okay, moving on up. My next line, is JoJo, Mackenzie, and Kalani. You were all in the group dance, I thought it was great. You took me back to that era. You could've all been extras in a movie. But the group dance didn't win. I want the Abby Lee Dance Company Junior Elite Competition Team to blow everybody away. Do you understand?"
"And next is Maddie. You came in second to Ale, but very close in scores."
"However, we did have one dancer who did blow everyone away, Ale, you are at the top of the pyramid. You were our big winner in Philadelphia. You won with your solo, overall high-score of the day. The judges had nothing bad to say about you at all. You looked amazing in the group. Great job"

"Now, this weekend, we're competition at Energy National Dance Competition." Abby tells us
"To go against the Candy Apples" Melissa laughs
"This week, there's only one solo. And that solo is going to Ale. You will be doing a jazz dance entitled "Feeling Good". This is your first jazz solo in a while, so let's see if you still got it"
"Now, in honor of Maddie's amazing duet with Shia LeBeouf, we are doing three duets" Abby says and we cheer
"A duet relies on two people working together as one."
