Alessia's pov "Hi" I say walking into the dancers den. Me, my mom and Hannah are the last ones here
"Where's Cristi? Is she out there? Is she coming?" Jill asks
"I think she's mad at me cause I said something about the hat" Kelly tells us
"Which is crazy" Jill says and the moms agree. "I mean we all saw the hat"
The moms continued talking about Cristi, Chloe and everything that happened last weekend while the girls and I stretch. I change into my dance clothes and go into splits next to Maddie
"Come on ladies let's go, let's go, let's go" Miss Abby yells and we all rush into Studio A for pyramid
"Alright. Last week you walked in here and you were losers. Fourth place. Today you're winners. You walk in here like 'Woohoo we won'" Miss Abby says. "And that's all fine and dandy but uh let's be realistic, you won by a tenth of a point. I don't want the Abby Lee Dance Company to be just one tenth of a point ahead of who you beat. I don't want it. I want you to be thirty points ahead. Or twenty points ahead. Or ten points. Or for goodness sakes, one whole point. Can we be one whole point above the next group?"
"Abby, do you know where Cristi and Chloe are?" Kelly asks
"I'm dealing with them. I'm gonna do something a little different today. I'm gonna start at the top." Miss Abby tells us and we nod. "Finally, for the first time ever, Kendall is at the top of the pyramid. You're on top of the pyramid. Kendall you beat a lot of great people, one of them was Chloe. Jill. I think you just made an enemy. I don't think Cristi can handle your nine year old, beating her eleven year old who is a national title holder right now. I think you need to watch out."
"Next I have Ale. Ale you won top overall high score. You beat Kendall. So why is she above you? I need you to keep working and pushing yourself. I need you to strive for greater things. Ok. Next Maddie. I'm not gonna tell you, you were amazing. I don't think you were. And then moving on Nia. Nia you went out, your arms were pretty, you started off strong. Next, I have Paige. Paige I don't want to go over and over things in class. I want to tell you one time and I want you to do it. And next, MacKenzie and Hannah. Tell me what you guys did because I heard that you guys were in the audience watching, then I saw you both sleeping in the dressing room. You're like dead weight coming along with us. We don't need you there." Miss Abby says. Hannah and Kenzie did watch us but they were tired so they fell asleep in the dressing room AFTER
