Alessia's pov We're back in LA! But this time for dance! And it's Nationals! I always love Nationals but it's also a lot of pressure and stress. I believe in us though
"Girls, come on! Get in here!" Abby tells and the Junior Elite Competition team goes into the studio we're renting. "Hello Maddie. Hello Ale. Hello everybody"
"The time has finally come for nationals. We are in, Los Angeles, California. Hollywood, Burbank, everything is here. I have a lot to do. We have exciting things happening with some of our members. It's busy." Abby begins but then the select team comes in
"Hmm, gangs all here" Jill comments
"Well, not all of them" Christi adds
"So you didn't wait to get called in. You just trumped in here" Abby says to them
"They don't follow the rules like we do" Melissa jokes
"You guys are perfect, I guess. I don't know" Christy shrugs and Melissa rolls her eyes. "Sorry for interrupting, Abby."
"Abby, what is the purpose of the Select Team right now?" Holly asks
"To dance, to win" Abby says. "I am in it to win it. Absolutely. It's all about the in."
"These kids have won three nationals in a row." Jill points out
"I think the winds are changing" we hear Christy "whisper"
"A lot is riding in this. This team has never lost at nationals." Abby points to us. "You've beaten this team."
"All right, let's get to pyramid" Abby says
"Chloe, you didn't dance, obviously, last week, but I hope you enjoyed the show"
"Abby, I wanted to let you know that we had a doctor's appointment yesterday morning. And I talked to the orthopedist and she cleared her to dance, so she's good" Christi says, showing the doctors note
"Fine" Abby shrugs
"Next we have Mackenzie. In the show, sometimes you were amazing. Sometimes you were, silly."
"Next, Nia. It was good. It was strong. But it wasn't what I just saw the week before. You didn't live up to that expectation."
"Next we have Kendall. Kendall, it was your confidence, your ability to get up in relevé, to be properly placed in the turn, keep your shoulder down, and nail it."
"Next we have Kamryn. What I like about your dancing, you knew where I was and you found me."
"Maddie, Ale, I just threw them at the top of the pyramid. They didn't have to dance. They've proved themselves in every single number in that concert. And besides that, the other work, the other things, the other opportunities are tremendous."
