Alessia's pov Today when we got to the studio my mom stayed to talked with Abby before we all went into studio A when we were ready
"Congratulations. You have had 13 victories in a row. Now, is that time for your teacher to celebrate or time for your teacher to get tough?"
"Girls, next week the new team arrives. It's going to be a tough week. You all know that Mackenzie is shooting her very first video for, It's a Girl Party. We shot all day today, and we have a big night ahead of us."
"Now this is a rough pyramid, because I have to get tough" Abby warns us
"Nia, you weren't in the group routine. When the routine first started, the one struggling with the movements was Nia. This is a wake up call. Any single one of you, you may not always automatically be in the group."
"Next, Kendall. You were second. You know how I feel about second."
"And next we have Kalani. Kalani, I'm still seeing technical issues. I want you to work your way back up to the top of the pyramid. Understand?"
"And next we have Mackenzie. You had to work on all your music while you were learning that routine, and you did it. You went out there, and you looked great according to my people."
"Chloe, you worked with Kalani. It was victorious."
"Next, Ale and Maddie. Once again you both proved yourselves. You didn't have solos, but you went out there in that group dance, and you two were the lasting impressions of those judges."
"Thank you" we said together

"This week we're going to Masters of Dance Arts in Buffalo, New York. Before I give out assignments I want to let you know that this entire week is going to be all about my mom. The best dance mom in the whole world."
"Maddie, you're doing a solo. It's called, Come to the Cabaret. It's a musical theatre piece. So my mom has a really close to with the people involved in cabaret. You cannot go out on that stage and be anything less than stellar. Got it?"
"Yes" Maddie nods
"Ale, you are also doing a solo. It is a beautiful lyrical piece entitled, Smile. Because that's what my mom did. She made everyone she was with smile. When she walked into the room all you wanted to do was smile. That means you have to be amazing and make everyone smile as well, understand?"
"Yes" I nod
"I have one more solo. That's going to Chloe. Chloe, you are doing a solo about the '50s. And it's called, Friday Night."
"And our group routine is, Amazing Grace. Everybody is in, except you, Mackenzie. You have a lot on your plate. And then also Ale, I'll get back to you. Now, Maddie did a solo to, Amazing Grace, at Nationals. You are now going to rework this routine into a group performance, ok? So it's lyrical. It's pretty. Nia, you're in it I guess. We'll see. Everybody this has to be flawless."
