99 Problems but a Mom Ain't One (s5 e2)

It's a new competition season! We head about a 3 month break and we're back at it again

Over the break I molded for Dance Spirit Magazine a lot, I was in Ariana Grandes new music video, "Thank you, next". I also went on tour with her to dance during that song and "7 Rings". Then Maddie, Kenzie, Nia, Kendall, me, of course Abby and Gianna, went to Australia and Europe for Master Classes and we went sight seeing. And I obviously did booth camp and took classes at ALDC. I had an amazing, yet busy break.

But now it's time to start a whole new competition season. I'm pretty excited. I mean our group dance, Amber Alert, won at nationals and my solo won!

"Hello babydoll, how are you? You look beautiful" Abby tells as me and I smile as me and my mom come inside. Then the other girls come into the lobby area and we talk to Abby for a bit.

"So eat these, we're gonna fatten you back up! She's too skinny" Jill jokes when she looks at Abby and we all laugh

After talking for a little, we made our way to the dancers den. I took off my coat and scarf so I could change into my dance sets. I was wearing a black and red ALDC sports bra and the matching leggings. Then I had, Maddie, do my bun before I put in a black bow.

"Does anyone know where Chloe is?" Kendall asks us

"No" we shake our heads

"I don't know, I hope Chloe show up." Jill says

"We all texted her, and Nia tried FaceTiming her, but no response" I explain

| The last time I talked with Chloe was before the big nationals blow-out. I just want to say that I miss her so much, but I guess she hasn't just thought to text back | Alessia Russo

"Was it that she got kicked out or did she walk out?" Nia asks

"She never got kicked out. Chloe's part of the team as far as I'm concerned" Jill says as Maddie starts to stretch my legs for me. "Let's wait and see what happened when we get in there."

"I don't know, I'm not quite ready for what's to come. I'm thinking it's so quiet and happy, there's something, the other shoe has not dropped yet." Holly says

"Girls, come on! Get in here!" Abby yells and we get up and ran into studio A for the first pyramid of the season

"Congratulations, you won again, nationals" Abby says and we clap

"However, that whole incident at the end of nationals really put a damper on things."

"So have you talked to Christi? I mean, did she say she's not coming back?" Melissa asks

"Talk to her?" Abby questions

"Did she e-mail you and say she's not coming?" Melissa clarifies

"I don't think she would spit on me. I just want you to know that Chloe was welcome to come. You all know it's her mother. It's not her."

"At this point we start last season with 8 girls, and right now we're down to 5." Holly points out and Abby just nods before moving on

"ALDCLA is going to happen. We have four weeks to prepare. We're gonna go big. You're gonna push the envelope. You will jump higher. You will turn faster. But you will also act, you will sing, you're not just preparing for a dance competition every weekend, we're preparing for you to become stars in Los Angeles." Abby announces and we clap

"Ladies, the first pyramid of the season." Abby says and then rips off the first covering

"Kendall, you were ninth."
