I paused my game, I thought I'd heard her singing again. Peeking out of my window, I could see her across the way, headphones on, dark brown ponytail swaying as she danced around in her room. A rare sighting, it was hard to catch her doing stuff like this!

She dumped her clean laundry onto her bed and started folding it. Never thought I'd enjoy watching a girl just folding laundry but here I was grinning like an idiot watching her from across the dorm courtyard. I watched her do a lot of things from across the way. It was really easy, especially since she didn't know how good my eyes really were.

It somehow felt weirdly pervy to watch her like this. Maybe it was ‘cos I was getting a little turned on? Yeah that was probably it.

She wasn't an especially good singer, but that didn't matter to me. It was cute when I could catch her. If she had even a little bit of an inkling that anyone would hear her she would stop. Same for the dancing. Couldn't get her to dance unless she was high or drunk.

I put down my controller, and hopped out of the window. Combing my fingers back through my hair real quick and giving my shirt and shorts a quick adjustment, I took three big silent leaps across on the infinity and stood at her window trying to look as casual as possible.

I didn't recognize the song at all, but it felt appropriate. “Need your sugar” was right. I was completely obsessed with her. She'd told me she loved me finally, not that I didn't know but I couldn't get more than a rare little kiss here and there. She was from some boring alternate reality future come to my world to save me and my friends, and I just really wanted to take her to my room and–

“AaOOHFUCK!” She shouted, holding her hand over her heart and bending over, “Satoru!! Jesus Christ I didn't see you!”

I smiled at her, jumping in through her window as she pulled her headphones down around her neck. Trying to act natural, I leaned up on the back wall by the window. Trying to anyway. Never had to try before but she made me nervous sometimes.
