“Any changes yet?” A small orange teddy bear asked, tugging on Suguru's uniform pants.

“Not at this time, principal.” Suguru said, glancing down at it, “All is clear on the north side. No sign of any curse users.”

“Good.” The bear answered, “Should be done very soon. Gojo will be able to resume guard as well right after he's seen the boys.”

Suguru nodded, “Right.”

The day stretched on, but eventually gave way to the night. The arrival of the twins was imminent, and as Satoru had predicted, Kenjaku had gathered curse users from all over Japan, spreading the news that a second set of six-eyes was about to be born.

This sparked a full-blown conflict. The sorcerers who sided with JJT and Kyoto clashed with the countless curse users who roamed freely. The prospect of another set of six-eyes meant an even longer period of peace, but it also made every curse user feel less secure in their ability to practice without fear. With another unstoppable Gojo on the horizon, their chances of freedom were rapidly diminishing.

Suguru descended from his position on the Northern wall of the Gojo estate main gate. He felt a slight shiver as the cold January night started to penetrate his bones. To the West, Nanami exuded a sense of calm and control. Mei-mei and Utahime awaited to the East. Ino, along with Yaga and a few cursed corpses, stood guard at the south gate.

For now, everything was quiet, but it hadn't been long since the chaos ensued. The curse users seemed determined to exhaust everyone, especially since Satoru was preoccupied with the birth of his sons. Once the babies were delivered, Satoru planned to track down any remaining stragglers.

Or so they believed.

Shoko had made some quick modifications and created a second Simulacrum. Although not as refined as the Suguru replica, it bore enough resemblance to Satoru to be intimidating. With the two decoys, she and Yaga intended to use them as a deterrent while the real Satoru and Suguru could finally get some much-needed rest.

Suguru adjusted his bun and leaned against the front gate, sensing an unsettling and strangely familiar aura. As he gazed down the dimly lit walkway that stretched towards the street, he was taken aback by the sight of his own reflection. Kenjaku's smile sent shivers down his spine - it was truly horrifying to see his own face grinning back at him. Despite the unease, Suguru managed to keep his composure, his fingers twitching slightly but his demeanor remaining calm.

“Well, this certainly is an interesting meeting isn't it?” Kenjaku said, slipping his arms into his sleeves, “How have you been Suguru Geto? Since your redemption and reintroduction to the sorcery world, I haven't heard a peep about any misdeeds. Have you returned to your righteous ways?”

“Enough, Kenjaku.” Suguru said, the swirling energy in his hand pulling the rainbow dragon curse from its slumber. It curled around him protectively as he kept his eyes on Kenjaku.

“I see. No words for me? No demand to return your body?” Kenjaku said, leaning forward a little with a taunting grin.

“That is not my body. My body has been my own this entire time.” Suguru said, pointing at him, “Your time loop was clearly the inferior one.”

“Oh, how interesting.” Kenjaku said, reaching his hand to his chin, “So you believe all the loops have different values?”

“Of course they do.” Suguru said confidently, “This is the one where I learned my mistakes. I grew and became who I always should have been. As much as Sarah believes in keeping this from happening at all, I am glad to have experienced the darkness I was capable of.”
