The spirit watched Akie closely as she easily decimated curses with her technique and her cursed energy manipulation. She was aggressive, but clean in her movements. He felt proud at how far she'd come, her devotion to her duty clear. Suguru had trained her extremely well, her senses on high alert even as the multiple foes surrounded her only to be blown away by her flurry of fists. It was rare that she would even need to use her technique at all, yet she still did so with a twisted smirk as the cursed spirits were torn apart within the swirling purple voids.
Once that group was cleared he followed behind her as she moved for the next group that Yukie called out from above. She was fast, nearly as fast as he was. Without even needing to possess the six-eyes, her perception was incredible as well. Her body was strong, her training never ceased even from when her father had first started to show her the ropes. Yes, he was sure she was ready for what she needed to do.
As the two hour time limit was approaching there were very few cursed spirits remaining. The area was beginning to feel light again, the pressure of cursed energy lifting away from the silent city. Akie waited patiently for Yukie's call outs, in between combat stretching her muscles. She was built with long legs like her father, perfect for her preferred method of running propelled on her cursed technique.
“Akie. One very big one in the crater ahead. Be careful.” Yukie called from above.
“Fuck yeah.” Akie muttered, grinning as she sprinted forward.
The spirit followed after her then floated in front for a moment, spelling out, “Let me show you something new.”
Meanwhile Ryousei and Kaisei met up again, waiting for Yukie’s call out for them. Ryousei looked up at his little sister, then at his twin. “She just called a big one at the crater.”
“Wanna try to snipe it?” Kaisei asked with an impish smirk.
“Fuck yeah I do!” Ryousei laughed, “C’mon.’
The two of them hurried Akie's way following her cursed energy only to find her talking with the Spirit near the edge of the crater. Walking up just as their conversation ended, the spirit smiled and waved at the two of them. Akie glanced at them and smirked with a wide grin before she hopped down into the hole. There was a flash of purple before they saw her sprinting across the air towards the deepest section.
“What'd you tell her, Dad?” Kaisei asked, glancing away from Akie and the spirit only winked in reply.
The ground rumbled, fissures cracked open the earth further, releasing billows of steam and a deafening roar. From the depths emerged a creature of nightmares, a towering behemoth crafted from a grotesque fusion of human limbs. Its form was a macabre collage of arms and legs, twisted and contorted in an otherworldly display of horror. Eyes wide with terror, the twins watched as the monstrous entity unfurled itself, its immense size casting a shadow over the entire town.
With each thunderous step, the ground quaked beneath its weight, buildings crumbling like fragile toys in its path. The air was thick with the stench of decay as the creature's grotesque form loomed closer, its jagged limbs reaching out hungrily. As chaos reigned supreme, Akie stood fearlessly before the curse.
Suguru arrived at the scene, a large cursed spirit carrying Yukie's body behind him. He looked at the twins and the spirit then up at the curse again. “That's a special grade!” Suguru shouted above the din of the creatures moans of agony, “Are you sure she can do this Satoru?”
The spirit gave him a thumbs up, turning back to watch.
Akie looked up at the ball of cursed limbs, then charged forward up and up on the limitless space. She stood far above the creature looking down on it with her long hair blowing in the wind. Raising up her hands she followed her fathers words carefully as she made the mudra. With the index finger of her left hand up and her thumb tucked in, she gripped over her finger with her right hand, her right index hooked over.
