It's as if I was bombarded with an explosion of vivid, rapidly changing images. Colors and shapes merge into a chaotic blur, making it difficult to focus on any single thing. Every sound became amplified to a deafening level. Conversations, ambient noise, and even my own heartbeat all merged into a cacophonous symphony. My skin felt hypersensitive, as if every texture and temperature variation was magnified. Even the lightest touch could feel like an electric shock. Every scent in my vicinity became overpowering, and the various odors intermingled into an indistinguishable and overpowering experience. A complete sensory overload.
Surreal and dreamlike. I found myself standing on the precipice of the infinite void. It was as if the boundaries of reality had dissolved, and I was suspended in the limitless expanse of nothingness. There was no discernible up or down, just a sense of weightlessness. As I gazed out into the void, I saw everything in the world before me. It was both mesmerizing and humbling, like a celestial work of art. I strained my senses, attempting to grasp the enormity of everything in our world. They were distant yet vivid, creating an ethereal tapestry of cosmic wonders.
I marveled at the intricate details I could discern from this surreal vantage point. I saw the oceans teeming with life, vast mountain ranges rising like wrinkles on the Earth's surface, and the intricate network of cities and civilizations twinkling like tiny embers-
"Saaaaaaarah~!" Satoru sang quietly, leaned down looking into my face with my hands in his, "Wakey wakey~!"
I blinked and stared at him, "W-woah!"
"Well?" He tilted his head, "How was it?"
"It was literally everything I guess?" I stared at him still feeling a bit dazed, "But I think maybe it wasn't so bad? I mean I feel like I kind of understood it instead of being completely blasted by it? I dunno."
"Weee~ll!" He smiled broadly, "I'm actually impressed! You aren't a drooling mess so that's a good sign!"
The infinite void stretched endlessly in all directions, a realm where both light and darkness reign somehow simultaneously, and the boundaries of space and time dissolve into obscurity. It is a canvas of absolute nothingness, where the absence of matter creates an eerie, serene expanse. No celestial bodies or points of reference exist to guide. In this limitless abyss, a profound sense of wonder and insignificance intertwine.
"Satoru…" I whispered, my voice echoing into the vast nothingness, "This is crazy!"
"It's kind of pretty right?" He said proudly, "I think it's pretty in a way."
"Yeah, kinda." I agreed, "It's interesting to see it in person for sure. The anime made it look all blue and lovely but I always figured it would be more like this. Sorta like just both light and dark at the same time somehow."
"Interesting. That's what it looks like to you?" He asked, looking down at me, "Guess it's just because you can't perceive it like I can."
"True. I always figured your domain is literally just blasting peeps with the same information your eyes get all the time and that's why it's so overwhelming." I said, looking back over the nothingness, "Because I think it was explained that the Gojo domain doesn't work unless you have the six-eyes."
" Limitless doesn't work unless you can see it all. That was what was told to me anyway." He nodded, and squeezed my hand, "Are you ready to try the next part?"
"Yep. As ready as I can be!" I squeezed his hand back, "I'll try on myself first and if that's not it we'll try on you."
Pulling out my dagger, I sliced a cut into my forearm and then looked up at Satoru. He nodded, waiting for me to be ready. Once I'd smeared the oozing blood around with my free hand, I held it over the wound and then smiled at him and nodded. As soon as he let go, I began to heal the wound.
