Chapter 52 - Shikigami

Everyone that was aware of the time loops was gathered together in the meeting hall at JJT. Satoru, Suguru, Shoko, Yaga, Kusakabe, Mei-mei, Utahime, Nanami, and Ino for the professional sorcerers. As well as Kirara, Megumi, Panda, Maki, Inumaki, Megumi, Nanako and Mimiko for the students. Akari also agreed to be involved, although he was currently banned from school grounds. As for the Kyoto students, we decided to wait to tell them until after Mechamaru’s betrayal, also hoping to save the boy before he makes that grave mistake.

Suguru provided an update, stating that our new information revealed the existence of a second Kenjaku, “To avoid confusion, we will refer to this individual as "constant" since he remains unaware of the time loops.” Suguru explained, “Due to this lack of awareness, the constant still plans to carry out the Shibuya incident on October 31st, which involves sealing Gojo and unleashing curses and transfigured humans throughout the entire area. This event will also lead to the emergence of hidden curse users and prompt the higher-ups to take action against Me, Gojo, Sukuna's vessel, Yaga, and make another attempt to control Okkotsu with a binding vow.”

Shoko picked up a copy of a sheet of paper which everyone also had in front of them. On it was a timeline of events that would happen in Shibuya, starting from 7 pm when the first curtain was cast all the way to the final major confrontation between Tsukumo and Kenjaku after he absorbed Mahito. Using the timestamps from the manga itself, we had a pretty accurate idea of exactly what would happen and when.

Nanami adjusted his glasses then spoke up first, “Are we to assume that this timeline needs to be concrete or can it be altered in some way?”

“The only two events that absolutely need to happen are Gojo must be sealed and Yuji Itadori must consume all of the Sukuna fingers that Kenjaku posseses.” I answered, “Otherwise none of the other events are necessary, and in fact I'd like to avoid quite a few of them.” Nanami nodded, satisfied for now.

“Satoru will be sealed at around nine thirty pm. From that time forward we cannot assume that he will be able to assist in any confrontations and we will need to adjust who is in what battle based on skill and compatibility.” Suguru continued, “I will assist where necessary, but if the Constant becomes aware of me it may cause trouble down the line.”

“We don't know exactly where the transfigured humans will be, so we're going to follow the same idea the manga had and create teams that will work together on clearing them and also evacuating any survivors.” I explained, “Ijichi is going to attempt to have the whole area evacuated beforehand, but that shouldn't be considered a set deal. I mean, it's Shibuya on Halloween.”

“Are we dividing the groups the same as they are in the manga?” Utahime asked, “I can divide my students based on those groups and make a couple of my own.”

Suguru nodded, “We'll likely not change the actual groups, but instead change their locations. It all depends on how we want to handle the special grade curses.”

“There will be five special grade curses you'll need to deal with.” Satoru started, “Mahito, Hanami, Jogo, Dagon, and the Smallpox Diety. Also there is the cursed womb painting Choso and Kenjaku himself.”

“If I remember correctly,” Utahime started, “Wasn't the entire reason for Choso working with Kenjaku because Itadori killed his brothers?”

“Yes.” I said, pointing at her, “And we do intend to rectify that, being that Itadori is related to them as well. If we can make them realize that they are all related we could have some very useful allies and not have Choso to deal with.”

“Some of you will probably not need to be adjusted much from your paths.” Suguru explained, “For example, Mei-mei, you and your brother take on the Smallpox Diety with no trouble so we will likely not need to change that unless something goes amiss elsewhere.”
