The call went out, Yukie seeing the visualization of the world's end before anyone could even sense the change. The sorcerers gathered quickly in the courtyard, ready for the final stand. Their expressions were a mixed bag, some holding confidence and some letting their fear leak through. Yet no matter how one felt personally, not a single one of us had a choice.

In the fading light of dusk, the world trembled beneath an onslaught of darkness. The once serene landscape of Tokyo now writhed with ominous tendrils of cursed energy, erupting from the earth like ethereal serpents. The sky, once a canvas of azure blue, now fractured into multifaceted hues, swirling with an otherworldly brilliance that defied explanation. As the ground convulsed beneath our feet, everyone gazed up in awe and horror at the kaleidoscope of colors that painted the heavens. Shades of crimson and indigo bled into each other, creating an otherworldly mosaic that seemed to pulse with an unsettling rhythm.

"Domain Expansion: Starry Meadow Dream"

Yukie's voice pierced through the chaos as her domain materialized before us. The gentle, ivory facade settled, revealing the scene of destruction unfolding outside of it. It was a moment of reckoning for most, witnessing the world's demise for the first time. I couldn't shake off the guilt of subjecting them to such a sight, but there was no way to take it back now.

With each passing moment, the world seemed to unravel further, reality itself bending and distorting in ways that defied comprehension. Buildings crumbled, swallowed by the ever-expanding maw of the abyss, while screams echoed through the chaos, lost amidst the cacophony of destruction. Amidst the chaos, figures moved like specters, their faces twisted in expressions of despair and disbelief. They stumbled through the shifting landscape, their footsteps faltering as the ground beneath them quaked with violent tremors.

Satoru, Ryousei, and Kaisei couldn't help but flinch, but they somehow managed to stay on their feet. The situation was undeniably intense for them, but Yukie's protective barrier appeared to be holding up well, ensuring their safety. Taking a calm position, Tengen settled down behind Yukie, crossing their legs and placing their hands on their knees in a lotus pose. Their energy seamlessly merged with Yukie's, strengthening the barrier as they synchronized their concentration.

"The domain is traversable both ways." Yukie explained. Though her voice was soft and low, it felt as if we could hear her right next to us no matter the distance you were from her, "Inside no acts of violence can be committed, so keep that in mind please."

And then, as if the very fabric of existence had reached its breaking point, the world began to pull apart. Islands of land broke free from the earth, suspended in the void like fragments of a shattered mirror. Each fragment glowed with its own eerie light, casting long shadows that danced and flickered in the darkness. As the world drifted apart, reality itself seemed to loosen its grip, spiraling into a psychedelic maelstrom of color and chaos. Time became fluid, bending and warping in ways that defied logic, while the boundaries between dreams and reality blurred into oblivion.

I took a step forward, ready to go and face my foe, but Shoko's hands grasped my arm. "Let me siphon some first," She said, her voice trembling, "We can reinforce Tengen and Yukie with it."

I held still letting her technique wash over me as it drew from the immense power already housed in my veins. It felt cold, like the blood being drained and then shot back through me. Glancing around at the others I could see them already firing up their own techniques to burn off cursed energy. Flashes of blue and black surrounded their weapons and bodies as they prepared to take on the endless stream.

"We can do this."  Satoru said, putting his hand on my shoulder, "Don't second guess it. Just do what feels right."

I acknowledged him with a nod as Shoko let go of my arm, then moved in with determined strides towards the story. As soon as it detected my presence, it started to extend towards me. Allowing a tendril to coil around my hand, I firmly grasped it and pulled it tight. I channeled the energy through, sensing its attempt to absorb my own energy. It was a familiar struggle that I had faced countless times in the past.
