I scoffed, reading the mission report. Just as expected, they sent out the first years to the Eishu Juvenile Detention center. Yaga looked just as annoyed, his arms crossed as he looked at me from across his desk. The higher-ups of course, that wasn't a surprise at all. Of course they'd send Satoru away for a long time and pull this shit. This mission was “just” a rescue mission, right? Five hostages, unconfirmed as alive, and a special grade curse? So let's send in the youngest, most inexperienced sorcerers, right? It was so obvious it was sickening.

“I shouldn't have expected they'd do anything different, even knowing about the loops.” I sighed, setting the paper down on Yaga's desk, “They really just want Itadori dead already. Cowards.”

“They really have no shame.” Yaga scowled, shaking his head, “Sending all of the first years could easily get all of them killed just to get rid of one they see as a problem.”

We of course weren't completely sure how much the higher-ups knew, but we knew they'd at least learned some of it. With all the meetings we'd had to discuss how to handle Shibuya, there was no way it hadn't gotten to them somehow. The interesting part was that they mostly seemed to be playing along, although sometimes it seemed as though they were still our enemies. I couldn't fathom why they wouldn't drop their bullshit and just support our cause, being that ya know it was only their whole world we were gonna save.

“Well, we got Kugisaki up to speed now and the other students of course know what needs to happen.” I said while picking up the sheet of paper and folding it, “Ijichi is getting the students together now, I'm gonna follow after them.”

“Be careful.” Yaga cautioned, “It’s unlikely Sukuna hasn't taken notice of you yet. He may be biding his time for a chance to question you.”

“I've been wondering that too.” I said with a nod, “He hasn't even shown himself to me yet which has been odd. He's had plenty of opportunities to do so as well. I think he's going to use this chance to talk to me.”

“Have you reversed around him yet?” Yaga asked, raising his eyebrow.

“No, not yet. He's definitely aware of my healing capabilities though.” I said, “I can feel his presence when I heal Itadori. He's definitely watching me.”

“A sorcerer that can reverse time is unprecedented, but he still may have an inkling of your true abilities.” Yaga said, putting his hand to his chin, “Do you think he's been waiting for an opportunity to force your hand?”

“Probably.” I nodded, “I wouldn't be surprised. This would be an excellent time. He used this mission to gauge Megumi's ability in the manga, but taking Itadori’s body hostage to question me instead is what I'm banking on him doing.”

“So, you’re going to tell him?” Yaga asked, looking at me over his sunglasses.

“Yes, I am.” I nodded, “If I didn't reveal anything to him ever I think that he'd work harder to figure something out. I'm worried that would put Itadori in even more danger.” I put my hand on Yaga's desk with a grin, “If I tell him just enough though he'll never know how much we really know.”

“Did Gojo think this is best?” Yaga asked, pushing up his sunglasses, “I find it hard to believe that he'd agree to a plan like this with how protective he is.”

“I mean…” I hesitated, “Satoru doesn't particularly want me to be around Sukuna, but he agrees we should tell him something to keep him from doing anything drastic.”

“Yes, but did he think you personally should tell him?” Yaga asked, raising his eyebrow.

I hesitated again, “Well… he didn't… he didn't say not to.”
