Don't want to ruin the friendship~Drew

Drew has been my best friend since we were only in elementary school all the way up until now. We only grew apart when Drew moved to LA for more acting opportunities. I was beyond proud of him for following his dreams but couldn't deny the sadness, as it felt like I had lost my best friend.

I hadn't talked to him in since he moved a couple months ago so I didn't really know how he was doing or if he did get casted in something. Or maybe is had became a star and forgotten all about me.

I was sitting on my couch, scrolling on Instagram when I saw a post by Drew, announcing he was going to be on a Netflix show, Outer Banks.

A Netflix show?!

Wow.

Immediately I clicked on his account and saw he already had 400K followers on instagram. I went to DM him, wondering if he would even see it as his DM's would probably be filled up.

Me: hi Drew!! long time no talk, i just saw your post and holy shit a netflix show?? i cannot even say with words how  proud of you i am i cannot waitt to watchhh!! congratulations i knew you could do it miss you lotsss❤️

I began to scroll on his costars accounts, and follow the OBX instagram. I was surprised to see that he already replied.

drewstarkey: Y/n hi!!!! Holy shit, right? I can't believe it. Miss you like crazzy you need to get your ass here

Me: i wish, LA life is not for me too crazy over there

drewstarkey: Lol you're right its crazy. Traffic and shit kills me. Im coming home next week I was actually ganna call you, you will never guess what

Me:  WHATT???

drewstarkey: We are going to be filming back in our home town!!

Me: NO WAYY???????!!!!!

drewstarkey: YES !!!!!!

Me: so when you come you get to stay?? omg im so exited i cant even breathhheeew

drewstarkey: Yes, I cannot waitt!!

drewstarkey: I get back on Tuesday at 3 come over ill be at my moms

Me:  Awh man i work 3:30-11 :(( lunch wednesday??

drewstarkey: Dealll

Me: see u starkey 😝

drewstarkey: See ya Y/n 🥳🥳

I was soooo so so exited, I couldn't believe he was coming back!

The next few days felt like forever, until finally it was Wednesday morning. I got ready and called Drew to make sure we were on the same page about the time before driving to the restaurant we agreed on.

Once I got there for some reason I felt super nervous, Drew is my best friend but I haven't seen him in so long and now he probably has much cooler actor friends.
