Chapter 34

There was nothing better than waking up to having your boyfriend laying on top of you, peacefully asleep.

Fitz's fingers played with strands of Dex's hair as Dex was laying against his chest. Fitz looked down at Dex, he was breathing out softly as he slept. Fitz managed to reach down and kiss the top of Dex's head.

Dex seemed to stir and he furrowed his eyebrows as his eyes opened. Fitz smiled as Dex lifted his head and looked up at him.
"Morning~" Fitz whispered.
Dex smiled as he reached up closer towards Fitz.
"Good morning." Dex whispered back, their lips nearly touching.

Dex was about to kiss Fitz before there was a loud knock on Fitz's bedroom door.
"Fitz! Are you awake?!"
Dex stayed quiet and backed away from Fitz as Fitz sighed.
"Yeah, I'm awake!" Fitz called to his sister.
"Cool! Can you make us breakfast?! Mom and dad are sleeping in today!" Biana called back.

"Did you not have breakfast at Solreef with the girls?" Fitz questioned.
"... I like your cooking better!" Biana answered.
Fitz rolled his eyes.
"Okay, I'll get started in a few minutes!" Fitz answered.
"You're the best!" Biana said before she walked off.

Fitz looked to Dex and Dex raised his eyebrows.
"Does this mean I have to leave?" Dex asked, tilting his head.
"Nah. I'll make breakfast, bring up Biana her plate and then bring up plates for us here." Fitz smiled at Dex.
Dex hummed.
"You really are the best." Dex grinned.

Dex reached up and he gently kissed Fitz on the lips for a moment. Dex then backed away and he sat up on Fitz's lap. Fitz sat up, his hands now resting onto Dex's waist.
"Okay, I want a kiss longer than that, please and thank you?" Fitz furrowed his eyebrows.
"You'll get another kiss after breakfast." Dex said, gently cupping Fitz's face.
Fitz frowned and Dex smiled as he leaned in, pressing their foreheads together.

"Don't be like that, you know I love you." Dex whispered.
Fitz smiled as he leaned in closer.
"If you love me, you'd give me another kiss." Fitz whispered back.
Dex rolled his eyes before he closed the gap between them. Dex gently kissed Fitz and Fitz kissed Dex back. It only lasted for a few moments before Dex pulled away and gently patted Fitz's cheeks with his hands.

"Go make breakfast. I'll be waiting." Dex said softly before getting off of Fitz's lap.
"I'll be back within at least 20 minutes." Fitz said, ruffling Dex's hair.
Dex's face scrunched up and he smiled at Fitz.
"Go on then, Wonderboy." Dex said, gently shoving Fitz in the arm.

Fitz smiled as he got up from the bed and he went over to the door of his bedroom. He glanced over at Dex who was just siting on the bed, smiling at him. Fitz felt his smile grow and he turned around, leaving his bedroom and shutting the door behind him.

Dex bit his lower lip as he laid back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling. Dex fiddled with the bottom of Fitz's shirt that he wore and he sighed out softly.

Dex was officially Fitz's boyfriend. None of this was fake, everything turned out for the better. Both of their parents are fine with their relationship with each other and already seem to think that they'll last a long time.

Dex was happy. He was satisfied with how everything turned out. And Dex felt so sure that his relationship with Fitz would last a long time.
