Prologue

Silence. There was pin drop silence in that deluxe cabin. Only audible sound was of pages turning. The room exudes sophistication and power. A large wooden table sits in the center of the room with a leather chair behind it.
The authoritative seat that belonged to Jeon Jungkook.
Everyone's eyes were set on him when he closed the file and placed it on table, before leaning back on chair, swirling it a little side to side, his arms were placed on its sides.
The heavy silence was broken by his experienced voice.
Jungkook:"Planning is all good. I appreciate it. What are the advances about construction site ?"
The man sitting opposite to him, senior director of Lee corporation who was sent as a delegation to Jungkook, smiled while clearing his throat and replied professionally.
Mr Sang:"We already looked for an acre in Busan. The area is busy and commercial. We're sure our project will be worth your investment Mr Jeon. Now the wait is for you to appoint the project supervisors from your side."
He explained as formally as possible.
Leaning ahead Jungkook placed his arms on table and clasped his hands together.
Jungkook:"I'd like to visit the site by myself, before construction begins."
Mr Sang immediately agreed.
Mr Sang:"It's honor for us Mr Jeon."
His expressionless eyes looked at the man for a second before he hummed.
Jungkook:"Ms Kim, send the copy of signed contract to board members. And schedule lunch with Mr Lee."
He ordered his secretary who was standing beside his chair with an ipad in her hand, carefully listening to the conversation and noticing important points. She instantly responded.
Kim Ava:"Noted sir."
Exhaling Jungkook stood up causing Mr Sang to stand immediately as well. Extending hand towards him Jungkook looked straight in his eyes, with his always intimidating aura. Mr Sang shook hands with him without a delay.
Jungkook :"Alright then. Best of luck with the project."
Mr Sang:"I hope this our collaboration brings us success."
Jungkook just nodded stoicly before glancing at his wrist watch for a second then looked back at the man standing before him.
Jungkook:" It was nice to meet you."
Mr Sang:"Same here Mr Jeon. See you soon."
Mr Sang bowed slightly with a smile and made his way out after collecting a few papers. Again de@d silence fell in CEO's luxurious office.
Taking his cell phone, he saw a few texts which he already knew would be there.
Jimin(text):"Don't forget. At 7pm, sharp."
Shutting the screen and placing the gadget in his pocket he looked at Ava who was still standing Infront of his table waiting for further instructions.
Jungkook:"Ask driver to get the car ready. You're dismissed."
Ava:"Got it Mr Jeon."
She bowed lightly before walking out.

Entering in the cabin of her assistant she sighed due to the ruckus there, files were scattered and his head was dipped in the cupboard searching for something.
Ava:"Beomgyu ! What are you doing ?"
The poor guy was startled by her sudden yell causing him to bump his head on the hard wood. Groaning he got his head out of there and faced Ava with a frown.
Beomgyu:"Ms Kim can't you see ? I'm looking for the file. The Singapore project one."
Ava(raising a brow):"Still ?"
He bopped his head up and down like a puppy.
Shaking head she made her way to the table and starting stacking the thrown files over one another.
Ava:"You better find it before tomorrow otherwise Mr Jeon won't cut you some slack."
Scrunching nose he sat on the floor leaning back at the cupboard and stretched his hands, with a heavy exhale. He looked out of glass wall and found Jungkook passing through the hallway with his signature blank face.
Beomgyu:"I wonder how his surroundings don't freeze by the amount of coldness he carries."
Ava, automatically chuckled still busy in her work.
Ava:"Not a good idea to talk behind our boss's back."
Beomgyu(scoffing):"Whatever ! Anyways he's off early today ?"
Ava(shrugging):"Yeah."
Beomgyu:"Why ?"
Ava:"How would I know Beomgyu ? Do you think I can dare to question him ?"
Beomgyu:"I meant you might know you're his secretary."
Ava(busily):"I'm his secretary not his mom to know anything about him."
Beomgyu:"That's right too. Anyways....."
He trailed off and stood up while dusting his hands.
Going to stand Infront of table he started helping Ava in gathering and putting papers in a file.
Beomgyu(curious):"He agreed to Mr Lee's project, totally unexpected. I mean their company is very very small as compared to ours."
Ava(picking up a few files and walking over to the book shelf):"It's not about company level Beomgyu. You see Mr Jeon has a proficient insight. He might have seen the potential in this project and remember that jeju island project. Every board member opposed him to sign contract with them because they just started their company but Mr Jeon did it and it got really successful."
Beomgyu (sitting on his chair):"Yeah of course I remember that. Because I gave my opinion unwantedly and Mr Jeon told me to ShUt uP."
He said scoffing while Ava chuckled a little.
Ava(Looking at him over her shoulder):"That's why I tell you not to use your mouth unnecessarily."
Beomgyu just rolled his eyes.
