Getting inside the crowded place he almost gagged at the strong smell of alc0h0l and c!gars invading his senses. His face scrunched up while his gaze roamed around the whole place with his pounding heart. His eyes desperately looked for her but she was nowhere to be seen.
Rubbing his forehead he made his way to the bar counter and signalled the bartender to come near, which he obeyed.
Bartender:"Yes sir ? How can I help you ?"
Jack (Showing the phone screen):"Have you seen this girl around here ?"
The bartender nodded his head in denial making him sigh. He called the other bartender and showed him the same pic with the same question. The second bartender looked keenely at the picture before his eyes shone in realization and he nodded.
Bartender:"Oh yes. She's new madam. She has been living here since a few days."
Jack's heart ached strongly.
Jack:"Where is she ?"
He managed to talk with the burning heart.
Bartender:"She has booked a room upstairs."
Jack:"Take me there."
Bartender(looking at Jack up and down):"I'm really sorry sir but I can't do-"
His words halted midway when Jack fished out his wallet and showed him the fresh currency notes. The bartender grinned and took them.
Bartender:"Follow me."
Jack quietly inhaled a deep breath and followed him. He could feel cold sweat forming on his forehead at the chances of what he was going to see.
Four days ago he had to go America for his job purposes and Irene had to attend a very important event at her hometown with her family, that's when they agreed to drop Jiah at her home for a few days, they decided to pick her back as soon as they come back.
He was hurrying to complete all his stuffs and return back to korea to take care of Jiah but the sudden call from Mrs shin had left him dumbfounded. He dropped jiah at Shin mansion by himself then how could she not be at home. Irene was also unaware of her whereabouts.
Without caring about anything else he took the next flight back to South Korea and also requested one of his friends to track Jiah's location. The location turned out to be here, in a shaddy club at a corner of city.
He was utterly baffled and worried to d€ath about her but he decided to find Jiah before informing Mrs shin and Irene. As soon as the flight landed he made his way to this club.
Walking through the narrow corridors bartender stopped Infront of a room and turned towards Jack who was standing behind him with the shivering heart.
Bartender:"This is the room sir."
He said before going away. Jack inhaled deeply and gathered all his courage before opening the door, it was unlocked. As soon as he stepped in his frenzied eyes roamed around to look for her and when he spotted her, his heart was panged brutally. The world came to halt and he felt his heart dropping in pit.
Jack:"Jiah~"
His trembling lips whispered.
She didn't respond. She wasn't in condition to. Crouching down in the corner of the room she was slumped on the ground, with her dishevelled state. Room was full of a weird scent, scent of d√ug. He took his wobbly steps towards her and crouched down in front of her, his eyes blankly stared at her hoping that it would turn out to be a nightmare but it was the truth.
There were a few traces of powder on her face, he slightly touched the white substance and smelled it just to find out it really was d√ug.
His eyes stung from the tears and he slightly shook her. Her face fell to the side indicating that she was high. He squeezed his eyes shut and held her hand, a tear dropped down from his eye on her hand, before he kissed her hand and sobbed.
It was heart wrenching. So painful. To see the woman he loved so much like that. He loved her, always. Silently, quietly, one sided, truly, respectfully. He always kept his love hidden because he knew she never felt the same, and when he decided to confess his feelings he was too late. She had already given her heart to someone else.
It broke him, he spent many nights crying, sobbing, praying for his love, but at the end he realized she didn't feel anything for him. So he started praying for her happiness, he has always been praying for her to get someone with whom she would be happy, genuinely happy. Her friendship was everything for him, he still kept his love hidden thinking that he'd spend his whole life with their friendship, on the basis of the beautiful time they spend together as friends.
She meant everything to him. He knew "He was always hers, but she was never his."
And now, even after sacrificing everything for his love, when he was seeing his beloved woman in this condition it broke him, it tore his heart apart.
Jack:"Jiah !"
He called her, shaking her from her arms and she fell in his arms like a lifeless doll. He hugged her fainted figure in his trembling arms and cried out of agony. It was so menacing.
Jack:"Why ? Why did you do this to yourself ?"
He mumbled breaking down, holding her dearly like his life depended on her.

You climbed down the stairs after taking a nap. It was staring to get dark already, winter days are always short. Jungkook had gone back after having lunch with you and it was about time for him to come back. A maid stopped Infront of you just when you were at the last step.
Maid:"Mrs Jeon."
You halted and looked at her with a questionable gaze.
Maid:"Is there anything special you want me to cook for dinner ?"
She asked politely. You smiled.
Yn:"No thanks Martha. Just the usual dinner."
She bowed slightly before going away.
You continued walking and strolled around the place, stepping out of the back side of living room into a back yard. It was full of greenery. Chilly breeze hit you making you wrap arms around yourself. Looking around you stopped when you found a little girl sitting Infront of fire place. You walked a little ahead and found her reading book, that looked like her curriculum book. Your lips lifted up into crescent shape.
Walking over to her you gently called her.
Yn:"Hey pretty lady."
She slightly flinched and looked at you innocently before standing up from her place and upon recognizing you she slightly bowed.
Julie:"Hello Mrs Jeon. Can I help you ?"
You smiled softly at her. She was behaving like a grown up.
Yn:"What's your name ?"
You asked affectionately.
She looked at you with her big eyes and smiled.
Julie:"Julie, my name is Julie."
Yn:"Pretty name, just like you."
A shy blush crept up on her cheeks and you slightly laughed at that. After weeks something made you laugh truly.
Julie:"Thanks."
You took a seat near fireplace and patted the place beside you indicating her to take a seat as well which she obeyed.
Yn:"Where are your parents ?"
Julie:"My mother works here Mrs Jeon. Her name is Martha."
You nodded realizing that she lived here in servants quarter with her parents that's why she was here, in backyard at this time.
Yn:"I know her. That's great. Anyways what were you studying ?"
Julie(picking up her book):"English. My exams are near and I want to score good."
You smiled fondly.
Yn:"You'll score good Julie. If you need any help please let me know okay ?"
She thought something for a moment and nodded.
Julie:"I need help in a topic."
Yn:"Show me."
