A few minutes later they walked away to meet others and you were again left alone with Jungkook. Being well aware of his uncontrollable gaze on yourself, you preferred not to look at him.
Soon after his deep voice broke the silence between you two.
Jungkook:"Do you need something ? Are you thirsty ?"
He asked.
Yn:"No, I'm fine."
You replied without looking at him, making his smile deep.
He leaned towards your ear and placed a very soft peck on your earlobe before placing his forehead on your bare shoulder, sniffing deeply on your skin trying to inhale as much of you as possible, your scent that intoxicated him in indescribably amazing way. His eyes were closed and he felt himself totally lost in you. His mind became blank, he could only feel himself surrounded by your fragrance. You could vividly hear irregular beating sounds of his smitten heart.
No one really paid attention to both of you since it was time for dinner and people were busy. You looked down at your lap and your gaze fell on your hand that was captured in his big one. You sighed and moved your eyes away from your interwined hands.
But you paused when your gaze fell on.....your dad. He was leaving from the venue....of course he had attended the event for a short while as he had promised, and now he had nothing else to do here.
Yes, your father absolutely declined to attend the reception but Mr Jeon personally visited him and requested him to attend the wedding, while apologizing for his son's behaviour. Although Mr shin still didn't know the whole truth.
After Mr Jeon's continuous requests, Mr Shin finally agreed to attend the function, even for a little while. But since he was here he wasn't paying any attention to you....he hadn't looked at you....neither did he respond to your greeting. However, he did appear in the family picture just for the media. It was hurting you so badly. You felt your eyes getting moist and you gulped to keep your tears at bay.
Blinking to stop yourself from crying, you glanced once at Jungkook who was still on his position, with his forehead on your shoulder, and then you looked away. Your free hand clenched your gown in your fist.
Yn:"I'm sorry dad. I'm really sorry dad, unnie."
You could only think to yourself.
Everyone was told that Jiah didn't attend the wedding because of her fractured ankle.

Mrs Shin looked at Mr shin going out of the venue and sighed sadly.
Mrs Jeon:"Mr Shin is really hurt by everything."
She spoke standing beside her and Mrs shin instantly looked at her before nodding slightly with a tight lipped smile.
Mrs shin:"He is."
Mrs Jeon (looking at Mrs shin):"Why don't you tell him everything ? You should clear it that his daughter hasn't done anything wrong. It was my son's fault."
Mrs shin exhaled and smiled slightly.
Mrs shin:"I told you there's something keeping me from letting that happen. I hope everything gets settled and I can tell him the truth,I can tell him that yn didn't abash him."
Mrs Jeon nodded with a smile and placed her hand on Mrs Shin's back.
Mrs Jeon:"Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be fine soon."
Mrs Shin could only humm in response.
Two weeks ago, after coming back from Jeju your mother visited Jeon mansion while you were at University. She requested Mr and Mrs Jeon to keep the truth hidden from Mr shin for now. They obviously asked for the reason but she insisted that it was something personal and that she would reveal everything to Mr shin herself when the right time comes. Mr and Mrs Jeon were already too embarrassed and guilty for whatever their son did hence they agreed to this request of Mrs shin.
Once, a thought did cross Mrs shin's mind that she should ask help from Jungkook's parents in order to get yn divorced from Jungkook without any harm to shin family that Jungkook could possibly cause, as they seemed pretty nice....but she dropped that idea for now.
It was only going to bring chaos and she wanted to wait in case of yn till jiah gets fine. Now she had decided as soon as jiah recovers she would tell everything to Mr shin except Jiah's part and would get yn out of this unwanted marriage. And she'd try asking Mr and Mrs Jeon for help. Whatever, for now her all attention was on jiah....at least yn was alright but her jiah wasn't even in her senses. Every cell of her body prayed for jiah to get well soon.
