WildVerse

Killer was going to be dusted if he was lucky, letting out a whine as he frantically searched for the kid that was supposed to be in his care. He might play around but he knew when to be serious and the idea of telling Boss let alone Error that he had lost them, filled his LOVE stained body with immense dread.

He ducked and weaved under all the attacks being thrown around, avoiding eye contact with his teammates as he just knew he would see judgement there. He swore he had only put the kid down for one second, baffled at how they seemed to have vanished from his sight without him noticing a thing!

His ears flickered when he heard Cross let out a near feral growl, just knowing they realised what had happened and desperately putting some distance between the two of them. He might like to mess with Cross but unlike those pet dogs that humans like to keep he doubted 'loyalty' would keep Cross from trying to rip him to shreds.

That is if Error or Boss didnt get to him first, trying to ignore the horryfrying images his mind 'helpfully' supplied him.

He tried to search for this kids scent but the battlefield was messing things up and he also didnt know their scent as well as he should, unsure why the kid had avoided him at the base but assumed they must have been scared of him.

He stiffened when he felt a familiar gaze on his back, just knowing that the truth was out and praying he survived today.

Dream grit his teeth as he ducked under a knife, his gaze briefly going to Killers unusually turbulent emotions, before jumping to avoid his brothers tentacles.

He jerked Blues arm to pull them out of the way of Horrors axe, feeling the fight was much more violent than he was used to.

"Killer! I swear to god if you dont find them in the next ten seconds I'll leave your fate in Error hands and you will wish i had dealt with you"

"I'm trying, Boss!"

"Try harder"

He was confused about what was happening, wondering if dissent was occuring in the ranks and they might finally have a chance to end this once for all. He saw the perfect moment where Nightmare was distracted and summoned his bow, quickly firing arrows to pin their tentacles, trusting Ink to have his back as he went in for the final move.

He was surprised when he actually managed to pin them to the ground, his dagger held to their throat causing them to go unnaturally still below him. He had never gotten so close before, something clearly on their mind if they hadn't managed to dodge a single arrow.

"What now, brother. Are you going to kill me? Free the world from my so-called taint?"

He held strong in front of their taunting, unmoved as they spewed more hurtful words as he tried to focus on the truth that Ink told him long ago.

His brother was dead and had been for a very long time.

That didnt mean it didnt hurt to hear their voice say this, knowing he should just finish the job to free the entire place but he hesitated, the sounds of the battlefield slowly dying out until only his rapid breathing could be heard.
