AntiVoid
Dream wondered if he was some sort of fever dream, watching someone he thought to be a normal monster if a little odd, turn out to be some kind of cosmic being from what few words he got out of Error before they Crashed for what felt like hours but at least he wasn't alone right now.
He had been sharing many looks with his other 'captees', still bound by Error's magic but knew even without it there was nowhere they could really go apart from deeper into the AntiVoid.
He had heard enough horror stories from Ink and even many of Error's threats in the past to know how dangerous and frankly moronic that was to do but right now he felt he might actually prefer that to whatever he was watching right now.
"..why isn't he saying anything? I thought this 'communication' thing was supposed to help. ῳɛཞɛ ყơų ℘ɛཞɧą℘ʂ Ɩყıŋɠ ɬơ ɱɛ?"
Everyone winced at the distorted words that almost seemed to radiate power, wishing he could block the sound out even if the words seemed to reverberate directly into his mind. He heard Shattered gag next to him, doing his best not to join them as he sensed the alarming intensity of emotions which were practically screaming at him.
He was never so glad that he wasn't the recipient of what he thought might be a question, just about managing to look over at Corrupted who looked very much like a deer in headlights, shivering at seeing their corruption sliding off their bones due to the sheer intensity of the magic starting to build up from 'Cross'.
He had a feeling that if they didn't answer soon there would be one less Guardian in the multiverse, although would that really make a difference at this point. He held back a hysterical giggle at realising just how much of the multiverse was gone, the Balance in utter shambles with Nightmare passed out he was very jealous from the sheer imbalance of it all.
"I-It can take time. S-Sun is just feeling a bit o-overwhelmed right now but talking should h-h-help"
"...hmm. I suppose that makes some sense. I forgot how sensitive some monsters can be"
Corrupted nearly cried from relief that his answer was somehow accepted, very much hating how he was speedrunning becoming a professional therapist in what felt like hard mode. He was pretty sure it had only been 10 minutes it was hard to tell in the AntiVoid and was trying his best to not get wiped out for saying the wrong thing. So far it was working wonderfully but the stress was overwhelming and he knew it would only get worse.
The only thing that would make this far less stressful was if the babybones actually started responding but you didn't need to be an empath to see that Sun had pretty much checked out right and he couldn't say he blamed them. After catching a mere glimpse of the previous display between the two and watching how they interacted since Sun had dropped into their lives, he was a tad shocked this hadn't happened sooner.
He felt you would have to be blind to not notice how on edge Sun was, like a keg about to explode any second and the pressure had only been building with every bit of 'training' that Cross had been doing. He was kind of regretting not saying something before but at the same time he doubted it would have made any difference as Cross could be rather stubborn, that trait at least not seeming to be a lie at all.
