Sun learns to control his magic better and he is having a great time!...so why isn't he happy?

Corrupted Nightmare Multiverse

Sun was happily purring into Penguins fluff but shivered at the sudden temperature change. Looking up he spotted a foreboding looking castle, feeling rather exasperated.

Were all Negativity Guardians impelled to be 'dark and mysterious'?

The front doors flew open and a Killer type stepped out, looking between him and Nightmare with a growing grin.

"Did you forget to tell us something, Boss?"

" Killer.. "

"What? I'm not judging. Though the resemblance to your twin is kind of creepy..are you missing your brother that muc-"

Sun whistled at how far Killer was thrown by Nightmares tentacles and giggled as they passed by a groaning Killer. They sadly soon recovered and he scowled when they came far too close to his face, making his tentacle smack the skeleton away.

"Awww, it's like having a mini Boss around! They even have the disapproving look down!"

" ..you are very loud, Mr Sad "

"..what?"

Sun looked away and glared at the other two monsters that just entered the room. It had been a while since he had seen this type but he was pretty sure they were called Dust and Horror.

"-hey, hey! Why am I Mr Sad?!"

Sun sighed in annoyance at Killers interruption and impassively looked down at them from Penguins arms.

" Due to your tears"

What was unspoken was 'you massive idiot, how did you not get that?' but going by the twitch, they thankfully got the message. He would hate for there to be any misunderstandings between them.

Stalker had gotten him books that were 'child friendly' but they were terribly dull. They did give him fun new ways to annoy others though and it seemed to work wonderfully already, going by Killer's twitching smile.

The negativity that grew in them made his smirk sharpen in glee. He hadn't met a Killer variant he could stand yet and he doubted this one would be an outlier.

" Killer, just go. Let me show our new guest around "

Sun could feel Penguin want to let him down but his tentacles latched on, making it impossible to do. He grinned smugly as they sighed and followed Nightmare. This one was so well trained! No wonder the other Guardian kept them!

He glanced around in interest but nothing looked particularly different to what he was used to. When he was led into the library he purred and allowed Penguin to let him down before he ran off.

" I have a few things to do, little one. Will you be fine by yourself?"

Sun waved them off and happily looked at the shelves of books. No stalker and all the books he could want? This day was starting off great!

NIghtmare was pleased that his subordinates had no complaints of the new guest, not that he expected any. His word was law and if he said they were staying then that was that.

In the coming weeks he was amused at how Cross ended up being the favourite of the babybones, which he suspected had more to do with their jacket than anything personal. Not that anyone else seemed to notice this particular fact, as they all tried to gain the child's attention in increasingly creative ways, all failing rather miserably.
